Although it does not appear in its\u00a0artistic name, Terremoto de Alcorc\u00f3n\u00a0(Alcorc\u00f3n\u2019s Earthquake) has been\u00a0established in Mallorca for more\u00a0than two decades. This singer,\u00a0actress and comedian has done\u00a0everything, even recording with\u00a0Almod\u00f3var. She finished this year\u00a0with more popularity, if possible, after\u00a0participating in Masterchef Celebrity\u00a05, where she has been in charge\u00a0of spicing up with her looks from\u00a0another planet and its inexhaustible\u00a0self-confidence.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cinema, television, theater,\u00a0music\u2026 Where do you feel\u00a0more comfortable?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget the hospitality! I was\u00a0always very restless. I want to do\u00a0everything and \u201ctake it all away\u201d, as my\u00a0mother used to tell me. However my\u00a0favorite field will always be the stage.\u00a0I miss the contact with the public and\u00a0I hope that we can touch each other\u00a0with a lot of love and more enthusiasm\u00a0soon.<\/p>\n

Is there anything left for you to do?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To be the weather girl; the promise of\u00a0the mayor of Alcorc\u00f3n to be fulfilled\u00a0installing a roundabout with my name;\u00a0broadcasting the new year\u2019s chimes\u00a0and an honour kick off on the Athletic\u00a0de Bilbao pitch.<\/p>\n

How did you decide\u00a0to come to Mallorca?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My first visit to the island was while\u00a0working at Banco Santander. I would\u00a0not have thought that my second time\u00a0would be to get on stage with the best\u00a0teachers and sisters, the Diab\u00e9ticas\u00a0Aceleradas. It was their idea to bring\u00a0me to this blessed island. If I thought I\u00a0lived well, I had no idea what quality of\u00a0life was. And of course, I stayed here…\u00a0\"Terremoto<\/p>\n

What did you find when you\u00a0arrived that made you continue\u00a0on the island today?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A light that requires 50 factor\u00a0protection 365 days a year,\u00a0discovering how real sobrasada\u00a0tastes like, the most emblematic\u00a0place on the island, Flexas bar, and\u00a0a lot of love. Mel, mel mel\u2026! As\u00a0Diab\u00e9ticas would say.<\/p>\n

How did you come up with the\u00a0idea of opening a restaurant bar\u00a0like Flexas?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I never wanted to open a bar or, even\u00a0worse, a restaurant. It was not in my\u00a0plans, but my life is full of surprises\u00a0and the Flexas was one more. If\u00a0there is something that has not been\u00a0done very well on the island, it is to\u00a0protect the emblematic businesses\u00a0and venues that provide Mallorca\u00a0with character, so my partner and\u00a0archangel Xavi de las Heras and I\u00a0rise with the title of \u2018saviours\u2019, as the\u00a0copla. We rescued this place from\u00a01890 (the year it has been known to\u00a0be a bar, although the license is from\u00a01944) and with our own hands, our\u00a0hearts and our friends we restored\u00a0the place so that the Flexas would\u00a0last in the old part of the city.<\/p>\n

What are your favorite corners of\u00a0Mallorca for these winter months?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A beach<\/strong>: The rocks in front of\u00a0my mother-in-law\u2019s house in Can\u00a0Picafort.
\nA town<\/strong>: Santa Margalida\u00a0always! Even more during market\u00a0days!
\nA place to lose yourself<\/strong>: Can\u00a0Believet, our country house.<\/p>\n

This year you have been one of the\u00a0celebrities of Masterchef. What is it\u00a0about this program that captivates\u00a0all the participants so much?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When you are external to it, you think\u00a0that the arguments of its aspirants\u00a0are merely a show, but it is not like\u00a0that. It truly is a unique experience,\u00a0like the first summer camp, an\u00a0exercise of self-improvement, a hard\u00a0learning but so enriching that you\u00a0would like to do it again despite its\u00a0demands and harshness.\u00a0\"Terremoto<\/p>\n

Has the Flexas experience given you\u00a0presence for the contest?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A lot! I didn\u2019t need them in the dining\u00a0room, little shame accompanied me\u00a0before. The truth is that I never got too\u00a0close to the kitchen so I went into the\u00a0Masterchef without proper experience.<\/p>\n

Which projects do you have for the\u00a0next few months?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am preparing something for children\u00a0with an avant-garde and crazy touch.\u00a0You will see, I hope. A movie outside\u00a0of Spain, a new song, online courses,\u00a0keep cooking … The thing is not to stop.<\/p>\n

Will you continue to be linked\u00a0to the island?<\/strong><\/p>\n
