It is the only place on the island that has accumulated two Michelin stars. However, currently Fernando P\u00e9rez Arellano’s team is temporarily closed due to the health crisis. The restaurant opened its doors in 2005 in Madrid and in just one year it won its first award. Five years later, Zaranda’s gastronomic concept moved to Mallorca, where the chef’s personal style was awarded for the second time in 2016. We hope that he will soon reopen his kitchens.<\/p>\n

Maca de Castro<\/h2>\n

Another of the Michelin star restaurants in Mallorca affected by the pandemic. On their website they announce that the place, located in Alcudia, will remain closed until May 2021. Chef Maca de Castro, who started at the Jard\u00edn restaurant, has evolved with her cuisine to become one of the most acclaimed cooks on the island.<\/p>\n

The restaurant is located in a 15th century room, with capacity for 30 people, surrounded by its own garden. In addition, it has its own cellar and artisan cheese cart.<\/p>\n
