Degrees with rates exceeding 90% include:

Labour Relations.

Building Engineering.

Protocol and Organisation.

Nursing.

However, finding employment does not always mean securing a full-time position. The report notes that 17.6% of graduates registered under the general Social Security scheme work part-time, compared with 13% of all workers registered under the same scheme.

Employment rates among master’s and doctoral graduates

Among those who complete postgraduate studies, employment rates also increase over time. For doctoral graduates, this growth is more moderate because their initial employment rates are already higher.

According to data for master’s graduates from the 2022-2023 academic year, the fields with the highest employment rates one year after completing their studies were:

Security Services: 88.9%.

Teacher Training: 83.7%.

Business and Administration: 81.5%.

All three exceeded the average of 78.4%. Among doctoral graduates from the same academic year, Health Sciences recorded the highest rate, at 83.3%.

The report also examines the quality of employment among postgraduate graduates. According to figures released by the Govern, three years after graduation, 78.5% are in the highest Social Security contribution groups (1 and 2), associated with positions requiring higher qualifications.

UIB records its highest number of graduates since 2013-2014

During the 2023-2024 academic year, 2,722 students graduated from the UIB, an increase of 8.3% compared with the previous year. This is the highest figure since 2013-2014 and marks a reversal of the downward trend recorded over several years.

The breakdown of graduates by level of study was as follows:

Bachelor’s degrees: 69.7%.

Master’s degrees: 25.7%.

Doctorates: 4.6%.

By field of study, more than half of all graduates came from Social Sciences and Law.

More than 75% of Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) […]

[136

post-159278","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blog-en

More than 75% of UIB graduates are employed within a year - Mallorca Global Mag

{"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/en/insercion-laboral-uib/","url":"https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/en/insercion-laboral-uib/","name":"More than 75% of UIB graduates are employed within a year - Mallorca Global Mag","isPartOf":{"@id":"https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/#website"},"primaryImageOfPage":{"@id":"https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/en/insercion-laboral-uib/#primaryimage"},"image":{"@id":"https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/en/insercion-laboral-uib/#primaryimage"},"thumbnailUrl":"https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Edificio-Ramon-Llull.-Foto-A.Costa-UIB.webp","datePublished":"2026-10-30T11:59:05+00:00","dateModified":"2026-10-30T12:21:52+00:00","author":{"@id":"https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/#/schema/person/9a3cf523d44bd4905a14be13db051907"},"description":"Labour Relations, Building Engineering, Protocol and Organisation, and Nursing have employment rates above 90% at the UIB.","breadcrumb":{"@id":"https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/en/insercion-laboral-uib/#breadcrumb"},"inLanguage":"en-US","potentialAction":[{"@type":"ReadAction","target":["https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/en/insercion-laboral-uib/"]}]},{"@type":"ImageObject","inLanguage":"en-US","@id":"https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/en/insercion-laboral-uib/#primaryimage","url":"https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Edificio-Ramon-Llull.-Foto-A.Costa-UIB.webp","contentUrl":"https://mallorcaglobalmag.es/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Edificio-Ramon-Llull.-Foto-A.Costa-UIB.webp","width":1000,"height":667,"caption":"El edificio Ramon Llull de la Univesitat de les Illes Balears.
