Photo: Ajuntament d&#8217;Esporles.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Ensaimadas, crespells, cocas, ice cream, chocolate and other sweet treats will once again take centre stage at one of Mallorca&#8217;s most traditional October fairs. The programme also includes gastronomic demonstrations, crafts, exhibitions, concerts, popular dancing and numerous activities for children in Mallorca, as well as events focusing on local produce.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The mayor of Esporles, <strong>Josep Ferr\u00e0<\/strong>, highlights the evolution of a fair that provides an opportunity to &#8220;talk about gastronomy, pastries, local produce, traditional recipes and new ideas&#8221;, a combination that, he says, has shaped its development since it was first held in 2005, with the only interruption coming during the pandemic.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Programme for Fira Dol\u00e7a 2026 in Esporles<\/h2>\n<h3>Friday 2 October<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>15:30.<\/strong> <em>Simposio Assaborint Mallorca amb responsabilitat (Savouring Mallorca Responsibly Symposium)<\/em>, organised by SEAE and Conream la Serra, at Sa F\u00e0brica.<\/li>\n<li><strong>18:00.<\/strong> Guided tour led by Tom\u00e0s Vibot: <em>De la rota a la nau industrial: Esporles i esporlerins en el tr\u00e0nsit cap a la modernitat (From the Rota to the Industrial Building: Esporles and its People on the Path to Modernity)<\/em>, in Pla\u00e7a de l&#8217;Ajuntament. Prior registration is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Saturday 3 October: III Dol\u00e7a Nit de l&#8217;Art<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>17:00.<\/strong> Opening of the exhibition of posters that have illustrated the 20 editions of the Fira Dol\u00e7a, at Sa F\u00e0brica.<\/li>\n<li><strong>18:00.<\/strong> Start of the III Dol\u00e7a Nit de l&#8217;Art, at Passeig del Rei.<\/li>\n<li><strong>19:00.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Group exhibition by Merc\u00e8 Homar Mas, Joana Leal and Miquel Homar Juan, accompanied by a wine tasting and aperitif, at the AXA Esporles office.<\/li>\n<li>Wine tasting and cakes made with local produce, featuring the wineries Rondalla, Ses Rotes, Es Verger d&#8217;Esporles and Son Vich de Superna, together with Aina Aul\u00ed by La Bul\u00e9 Xef and sommelier Andreu Oliver Tril, at S&#8217;Hort des Marqu\u00e8s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>20:00.<\/strong> <em>Broadway bites<\/em>, a journey through musical theatre songs featuring pieces from <em>Cabaret<\/em>, <em>Chicago<\/em>, <em>La La Land<\/em> and <em>Cantant sota la pluja (Singin&#8217; in the Rain)<\/em>, among others, in Pla\u00e7a de l&#8217;Ajuntament.<\/li>\n<li><strong>21:00.<\/strong> Concert by Miss Amnessia &amp; Ramon Rossell\u00f3, at Passeig del Rei.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Sunday 4 October: XX Fira Dol\u00e7a<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>09:30.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Parade by the Gegantons (little giants), accompanied by the Xeremiers d&#8217;Esporles (Esporles Mallorcan bagpipers).<\/li>\n<li>Showcase of <strong>Mallorcan pastries<\/strong>, including ensaimadas, crespells, cocas, ice cream, chocolate and other sweet treats, at Passeig del Rei.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>10:00.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Official opening of the XX Fira Dol\u00e7a and opening speech by Xisca Nadal, creator of the poster for the 20th edition. The Gegantons, Xeremiers, Banda Lira Esporlerina, Rondalla Maristel\u00b7la and Batucada Batukadell will take part. The Fira Dol\u00e7a 2026 distinction will also be presented to Miquel Busquets, master blacksmith, in Pla\u00e7a de l&#8217;Ajuntament.<\/li>\n<li>Mobile play centre with activities for children of different ages, in Carrer Ramon Llull.<\/li>\n<li>Sustainable carousel made from recycled materials, in Placeta des Brollador.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>11:00.<\/strong> <em>L&#8217;Art de Cuinar (The Art of Cooking)<\/em> healthy cooking workshop for families, where participants will prepare a fruit skewer, in Carrer Ramon Llull. No prior registration is required.<\/li>\n<li><strong>11:30.<\/strong> <em>Showcooking<\/em> by Miquel Serra, who will prepare sobrasada and carob cream pastries, with a tasting for the public, in Pla\u00e7a de l&#8217;Ajuntament.<\/li>\n<li><strong>16:30.<\/strong> Popular dancing with Revetla de Sant Antoni, Ramellets i Esclafits i Castanyetes. Courtyard of CEIP Gabriel Comas i Ribas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Throughout the day, there will also be a gathering of embroiderers, lacemakers, florists and spinners in Carrer Joan Riutort, as well as fairground rides in the Ca l&#8217;Amet car park.<\/p>\n<p>A <strong>free tourist train will also run from 09:00 to 18:00<\/strong>, travelling between the parking area, the end of the village and La Granja.<\/p>\n<h2>Programme for XIX Territori Verdesca<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>XIX Territori Verdesca<\/strong> will take place on <strong>3 and 4 October<\/strong> in the <strong>Canonge J. Garau car park<\/strong>, with family shows, music and the traditional woodcutting and chainsaw competitions.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Saturday 3 October<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>17:00.<\/strong> <em>Serra Mamerra<\/em>, a live radio comedy about the Serra de Tramuntana, organised by Conream la Serra and Club de Comediants.<\/li>\n<li><strong>18:30.<\/strong> <em>Mestres Xef!!
