The event will run from <strong>09:30 to 13:30<\/strong> and will bring together several categories in a non-competitive format.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-157548 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Futbol-playa.webp\" alt=\"Ciutat de Palma Beach Football tournament\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The event will be held on the new beach football pitches created by <strong>Palma City Council<\/strong> in Platja de Palma. The programme will include categories ranging from cadet and youth to amateur, as well as players from the <strong>Federaci\u00f3 de Futbol de les Illes Balears<\/strong> (FFIB) Insuperables league.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UD Collerense<\/strong> is organising the event with the support of the <strong>Institut Municipal de l&#8217;Esport<\/strong> (IME). The aim is to introduce beach football to different age groups and communities while showcasing the area&#8217;s new sports facilities.<\/p>\n<h2>Ciutat de Palma Beach Football timetable<\/h2>\n<p>The event will begin at 09:30 with matches in the female cadet-youth category. An hour later, it will be the turn of the <strong>Insuperables league<\/strong>, made up of athletes with intellectual disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The programme will continue at 11:30 with the children&#8217;s category. Amateur players will bring the event to a close from 12:30.<\/p>\n<p>The scheduled times are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>09:30:<\/strong> female cadet-youth category.<\/li>\n<li><strong>10:30:<\/strong> FFIB Insuperables league.<\/li>\n<li><strong>11:30:<\/strong> children&#8217;s category.<\/li>\n<li><strong>12:30:<\/strong> amateur category.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the end of each match, participants will receive various gifts and a commemorative event T-shirt.<\/p>\n<h2>Beach volleyball training sessions in Can Pastilla<\/h2>\n<p>Football will not be the only sport taking centre stage during the event. The men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s <strong>Superliga 2 volleyball teams<\/strong> will hold two training sessions at the new facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The sports area opened this summer features <strong>two beach football pitches and one beach volleyball court<\/strong>.
