The hospital has also recorded an increase in first consultations, while the overall volume of outpatient consultations has remained stable.<\/p>\n<h2>Scheduled surgery increases at Son Ll\u00e0tzer<\/h2>\n<p>Between January and July, <strong>7,027 scheduled operations<\/strong> were carried out, compared with 6,685 during the same months of 2025. The difference amounts to 342 procedures, an increase of 5.12%.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency surgical activity also increased, although at a slower rate. Son Ll\u00e0tzer carried out <strong>890 emergency operations<\/strong>, 3.37% more than a year earlier.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital has therefore increased both scheduled and emergency surgery. Planned operations account for the largest share, representing almost nine out of every ten procedures carried out up to July.<\/p>\n<h2>First consultations increase by 4.08%<\/h2>\n<p>Outpatient activity also slightly exceeded last year&#8217;s figures. Son Ll\u00e0tzer handled <strong>362,988 consultations between January and July<\/strong>, compared with 361,626 during the same period in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The increase was more significant for first appointments. The hospital went from 54,311 to <strong>56,526 first consultations<\/strong>, representing an increase of 4.08%.<\/p>\n<p>In absolute terms, this means <strong>2,215 more new patients were seen for a first consultation<\/strong> than during the first seven months of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The figures therefore reflect an increase in activity at Son Ll\u00e0tzer during 2026.
