The municipality has a calendar that captures the essence of its towns and villages through their most emblematic celebrations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every year, Santany\u00ed presents a full calendar of fires i festes<\/em> that structures the social and cultural life of its different towns and villages. From July to October, the municipality offers a succession of celebrations that combine tradition, music, gastronomy and popular devotion, inviting both residents and visitors to become part of the authentic rhythm of the Migjorn, in the southeast of Mallorca.<\/p>\n

Sea and roots<\/h2>\n

The festive cycle begins on 16 July in Cala Figuera with the celebration of the Mare de D\u00e9u del Carme, patron saint of sailors. The day, deeply connected to the sea, brings together residents and visitors around maritime processions and traditional events in one of the island\u2019s most picturesque ports.<\/p>\n

Just a few days later, on 25 July, Santany\u00ed celebrates Sant Jaume, one of its most notable events during these months. The municipality fills with cultural activities, music and popular gatherings that reflect the open and participatory nature of its festivities.<\/p>\n

August concentrates much of the festive calendar. On the 8th, Es Llombards honours Saint Dominic with a programme that combines tradition and a summery atmosphere. On 15 August, Cala d\u2019Or celebrates Santa Maria del Mar, a festivity connected to its coastal and tourist identity, while 16 August is the turn of Sant Roc in s\u2019Alqueria Blanca, with proposals that keep alive the spirit of the most genuine patron saint festivities.<\/p>\n

With the arrival of September, the calendar continues in Calonge, where Sant Miquel is celebrated on the 29th. This festivity marks the transition towards a calmer but equally participatory atmosphere, in which residents and visitors share traditional events and moments of community life.<\/p>\n

The final highlight arrives in October with the Fira de Santany\u00ed, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year. This event brings together agricultural tradition, crafts, gastronomy and local commerce in an atmosphere that reflects the municipality\u2019s identity and deep cultural roots.<\/p>\n
