Mallorca<\/strong> will have a total of 22 Blue Flag beaches in 2026<\/strong>, spread across 11 municipalities<\/strong> on the island. Among them, Cala Major, in Palma, and Es Port-Es Dol\u00e7, in Ses Salines, regain the distinction this year.<\/p>\n The Blue Flag, awarded by the Association for Environmental and Consumer Education<\/strong> (Adeac), recognises compliance with demanding criteria in water quality, environmental management, safety, services, information and environmental education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The beaches in Mallorca awarded a Blue Flag in 2026 are as follows:<\/p>\n In addition to its beaches, Mallorca has been awarded 11 Blue Flags for ports and nautical facilities<\/strong> this year:<\/p>\n Across the archipelago as a whole, the Balearic Islands<\/strong> have a total of 33 Blue Flag beaches<\/strong> this year, spread across 15 municipalities. Mallorca accounts for 22 of them, while Ibiza has seven and Menorca four.<\/p>\n In Menorca, the four recognised beaches are Cala En Porter and Son Bou, in Alaior, as well as Binibeca Nou and Punta Prima, in Sant Llu\u00eds. The Port of Ciutadella has also been awarded a Blue Flag.<\/p>\n Ibiza, meanwhile, has seven Blue Flag beaches this year: Cala Benirr\u00e1s, Cala Sant Vicent and Port de Sant Miquel, in Sant Joan de Labritja; and Santa Eul\u00e0ria, Cala Llenya, Es Canar and Es Figueral, in Santa Eul\u00e0ria des Riu. The island\u2019s Club N\u00e0utic Sant Antoni and Marina Ibiza have also been recognised.<\/p>\n In total, the Balearic Islands have 14 Blue Flags for ports and yacht clubs this year, the same figure as in 2025.<\/p>\n At national level, Spain once again leads the world ranking for Blue Flags in 2026, reaching a record 677 award-winning beaches, 35 more than the previous year.
