The Fira del Llonguet<\/strong> 2026<\/strong> returns to the neighbourhood of es Pil\u00b7lar\u00ed<\/strong> this Sunday 26 April<\/strong> for its tenth edition, one of the most recognisable popular events in Palma\u2019s festive calendar<\/strong>. Throughout the day, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy an event that combines local gastronomy, crafts and a wide-ranging programme of activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event, which attracts thousands of visitors every year, will run from 9:00 h to 17:00 h<\/strong>, with an official opening scheduled for early in the morning and a continuous programme that will fill the streets of the neighbourhood with a festive atmosphere. The fair puts the spotlight on the llonguet<\/strong>, one of the most emblematic products of Palma\u2019s baking tradition and closely linked to the city\u2019s identity, making it the star of a day designed for all ages.<\/p>\n

In gastronomic terms, the fair will feature 20 llonguet sales points<\/strong>, including bakeries, pastry shops, local businesses and food trucks<\/em>, offering different versions of this classic product. There will also be a showcooking<\/strong><\/em> session by the ASCAIB chefs\u2019 association<\/strong>, and one of the most eagerly awaited moments will once again be the best llonguet competition<\/strong>, which each year brings together professionals from the sector and curious visitors alike.<\/p>\n

Crafts and local produce<\/h2>\n

In addition, nearly 60 artisans from across Mallorca<\/strong> will take part, with products ranging from pastries and honey to jewellery, painting and handicrafts<\/strong>, many of them covered by labels such as the Denominaci\u00f3 d\u2019Origen<\/strong> or the Indicaci\u00f3 Geogr\u00e0fica Protegida de les Illes Balears<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
