Even so, the hotel sector underlines the <strong data-start=\"1057\" data-end=\"1111\">stability of tourist demand for Mallorca<\/strong>, supported by the destination\u2019s strength and positioning in its main source markets.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"16uy3jc\" data-start=\"1213\" data-end=\"1268\">Tourism stability despite the international context<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1270\" data-end=\"1455\">FEHM insists on the need to act with caution in the face of a <strong>changing global scenario<\/strong>, shaped by <strong>international conflicts<\/strong> affecting the <strong>economy and mobility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1457\" data-end=\"1756\">In this regard, FEHM\u2019s executive vice-president, <strong>Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Aguil\u00f3<\/strong>, points out that the <strong>diversification of Mallorca\u2019s tourism product and source markets<\/strong> makes it possible to maintain <strong>stable forecasts<\/strong>. However, she notes that the performance of each market will depend on how the international situation develops.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1758\" data-end=\"1941\">In addition, the sector <strong>has expressed concern over rising costs<\/strong>, especially the <strong>price of fuel<\/strong>, \u0628\u0633\u0628\u0628 its <strong>direct impact on transport and product supplies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"c2y3og\" data-start=\"1943\" data-end=\"1989\">Higher hotel opening levels in Mallorca<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1991\" data-end=\"2241\">The <strong>hotel opening rate will reach 92% during Easter<\/strong>, <strong>two percentage points above last year<\/strong>. This figure reflects the <strong>consolidation of the earlier start to the season<\/strong> and a <strong>progressive extension<\/strong> of Mallorca\u2019s tourism calendar.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2243\" data-end=\"2295\">At present, the sector shows a clear trend:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2297\" data-end=\"2548\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1kv3o2\" data-start=\"2297\" data-end=\"2360\"><strong>20% of hotels remain open all year round<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1skb3gl\" data-start=\"2361\" data-end=\"2415\">In <strong>February, 40% of establishments are already open<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"gpzef0\" data-start=\"2416\" data-end=\"2483\">In <strong>March, 70% of hotels open<\/strong>, <strong>16 points more<\/strong> than in 2025.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"4i8yuj\" data-start=\"2484\" data-end=\"2548\">In <strong>April<\/strong>, <strong>nine out of ten hotels<\/strong> are operating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1ukjktt\" data-start=\"2550\" data-end=\"2601\">Less seasonality and greater job stability<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2603\" data-end=\"2759\">The extension of the tourist season has direct effects on employment and economic activity. FEHM stresses that this model helps to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2761\" data-end=\"2908\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1022g95\" data-start=\"2761\" data-end=\"2798\">Reduce labour seasonality<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1uho1ar\" data-start=\"2799\" data-end=\"2847\">Increase stability in tourism employment<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"8ywf9n\" data-start=\"2848\" data-end=\"2908\">Require better planning of public services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"l38cdj\" data-start=\"2910\" data-end=\"2957\">Forecasts by tourist area in Mallorca<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2959\" data-end=\"3112\">Forecasts for Easter hotel occupancy in Mallorca point to a positive and fairly even performance across the island\u2019s main tourist areas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3114\" data-end=\"3296\">Destinations such as Col\u00f2nia de Sant Jordi, Alc\u00fadia and Pollen\u00e7a, S\u00f3ller, Playa de Palma, Paguera, Palmanova-Magaluf and Playa de Muro are expected to record occupancy levels of between 70% and 75%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3298\" data-end=\"3442\">Meanwhile, Palma, where the urban segment predominates, is expected to reach occupancy of around <strong data-start=\"3406\" data-end=\"3413\">86%<\/strong>, in line with last year.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"10na5hf\" data-start=\"3444\" data-end=\"3487\">Source markets and visitor profile<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3489\" data-end=\"3638\">As for source markets, Germany continues to respond, although at a slower pace.
