The event will take place on <strong>27 and 28 February, and 1 and 2 March<\/strong> at <strong>Parc de Sa Feixina<\/strong>, as part of the programme for the <strong>Diada de les Illes Balears<\/strong> organised by the Balearic Government.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_152667\" style=\"width: 790px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-152667\" class=\"size-full wp-image-152667\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Mostra-de-Cuina-de-les-Illes-Balears-2025.webp\" alt=\"Mostra de Cuina de les Illes Balears\" width=\"780\" height=\"520\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-152667\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The 2025 edition of the Mostra de Cuina de les Illes Balears attracted thousands of people to Sa Feixina. The programme includes performances by groups such as <strong>Descalaixats<\/strong>, <strong>Aftersuns<\/strong>, <strong>Via 80<\/strong> and <strong>Sonats<\/strong>, alongside family-friendly shows for younger audiences such as <strong>Uapidubi<\/strong>, <strong>Xispita i Geordi<\/strong> and <strong>Jiji Jaja<\/strong>. The festive atmosphere will be rounded off with DJ sessions from names such as <strong>Miquel Font<\/strong>, <strong>Jaume Colomb\u00e0s<\/strong> and <strong>Anto Cabanellas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><em>Showcookings<\/em> celebrating island cuisine and local produce<\/h2>\n<p>One of the main pillars of the <strong>Balearic Islands Food Fair 2026<\/strong> will once again be its focus on the islands\u2019 own cooking and locally sourced produce. Throughout the event, the public will be able to attend live showcookings that highlight the diversity of Balearic gastronomy.<\/p>\n<p>The culinary programme will feature chefs such as <strong>Jos\u00e9 \u00c1ngel S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>, <strong>Diego Merino<\/strong>, <strong>Miquel Serra<\/strong> and <strong>Kike Erazo<\/strong>, who will offer demonstrations linked both to traditional cooking and to more contemporary proposals.<\/p>\n<p>These sessions reinforce the spirit of the fair, which centres on promoting Balearic culinary identity, the islands\u2019 recipe N\u00e1utico<\/strong> \u2013 A Mallorcan \u201cvariat\u201d with classic options such as <em>frit mallorqu\u00ed<\/em>, <em>pilotes<\/em> and Russian salad.<\/li>\n<li><strong>La Menorquina \/ Caf\u00e9 Rico<\/strong> \u2013 A range of ice creams and coffees.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Can Company<\/strong> \u2013 Gourmet burgers, smash burgers, chips and dishes featuring Mallorcan <em>porc negre<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Miramar \u2013 Menorca<\/strong> \u2013 Menorcan specialities such as rice dishes, lobster-stew croquettes and skewers with Mah\u00f3n cheese.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Es
