The exhibition Paysage Mir\u00f3<\/em><\/strong>, the largest exhibition project<\/strong> ever devoted to Joan Mir\u00f3<\/strong>, has closed its doors with a total of more than 340,000 visitors<\/strong> across all its venues. This figure confirms the success of an unprecedented initiative<\/strong> and positions Palma and the Balearic Islands as a cultural benchmark of international standing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Beyond its artistic dimension, Paysage Mir\u00f3<\/em> has achieved significant international media coverage<\/strong>, with an estimated media return of \u20ac320 million<\/strong>, understood as the advertising-value equivalent of the visibility generated in leading media outlets worldwide.<\/p>\n

Paysage Mir\u00f3<\/em>, an unprecedented exhibition in Mallorca<\/h2>\n

The project ran for six months<\/strong> and, for the first time, brought together Mir\u00f3\u2019s work simultaneously across several of Palma\u2019s landmark venues. The exhibition La for\u00e7a inicial<\/em><\/strong>, staged at La Llotja<\/strong> in Palma, was the last to close, bringing the programme to a conclusion and turning the city into a living map of the artist\u2019s creative universe.<\/p>\n

The scale of Paysage Mir\u00f3<\/em> was made possible thanks to an unprecedented collaboration between the Government of the Balearic Islands, the Ajuntament de Palma, the Consell Insular de Mallorca, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sof\u00eda, Es Baluard Museu and the Casal Solleric<\/strong>, with the participation of the Mir\u00f3 Estate and Galer\u00eda Pelaires<\/strong>.
