The initiative, organised by the <strong>Consell de Mallorca<\/strong>, joins the main <strong>Christmas plans in Palma<\/strong> and aims to give visibility to <strong>local craftsmanship<\/strong> and locally sourced products during the festive season.<\/p>\n<p>The fair will offer the <strong>maximum number of places available<\/strong> and will showcase a wide variety of <strong>handcrafted products made in Mallorca<\/strong>, such as jewellery, costume jewellery, ceramics, painting, prints, screen-printing, artisanal pastries, herbalist products, traditional dolls, leatherwork and coffee roasted on the spot.<\/p>\n<p>Opening hours:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Friday 19 December:<\/strong> from <strong>11:00 to 20:30<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Saturday 20 December:<\/strong> from <strong>10:00 to 20:30<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Sunday 21 December:<\/strong> from <strong>10:00 to 20:00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Tradition, decoration and family activities<\/h2>\n<p>One of the fair\u2019s most emblematic features will be a <strong>wooden Christmas tree<\/strong>, hand-decorated with <strong>lleng\u00fces fabrics, siurells, neules and palm ornaments<\/strong>, reinforcing the traditional, distinctly Mallorcan character of the event.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the fair forms part of the <strong>La Miseric\u00f2rdia Christmas programme<\/strong>, so visitors will be able to enjoy <strong>daily activities for all ages<\/strong>, consolidating this event as one of the key <strong>cultural Christmas plans in Palma<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>A <strong>Christmas craft fair<\/strong> to give visibility to local products<\/h3>\n<div id=\"attachment_151698\" style=\"width: 790px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-151698\" class=\"size-full wp-image-151698\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Fira-Artesana-de-la-Misercordia-septiembre-2025.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"780\" height=\"520\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-151698\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Image of La Miserc\u00f2rdia craft fair held last September. Photo: Consell de Mallorca.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Vice-President of the Consell de Mallorca and Councillor for Culture and Heritage, <strong>Ant\u00f2nia Roca<\/strong>, explained that this first edition responds to a demand from the craft sector: \u201cFor some time, artisans have been asking for a space for visibility at this time of year. In this first edition, a total of twenty artisans will take part \u2014 the maximum number of places available \u2014 after we received more applications than we could accommodate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Roca stressed that the fair \u201carrives at a key time of the year, when Christmas shopping increases and the value of local, high-quality consumption is highlighted\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Among the participating artisans are the screen printer <strong>Ferran Permanyer Molist<\/strong>; the beekeeper <strong>Miquel Monserrat Barcel\u00f3<\/strong>; the painter <strong>Neus Paula Bosch Segu\u00ed<\/strong>; the jewellers <strong>Nina Schinneck, Lucia Magraner Lorenzo, Cristina Noem\u00ed Forteza Prats and Javier Remo Rinaldi<\/strong>; and the costume jewellery makers <strong>Maria Julia Ferian Arias, Alejandra Marcela Epifani and Antonia Provenzal Cifre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Also taking part are the leather tanner <strong>Aina Torrents Reyn\u00e9s<\/strong>; the doll maker <strong>Francisca Nadal Valenzuela<\/strong>; the herbalist <strong>Patricia Daniela Gonz\u00e1lez Moreira<\/strong>; the ceramicists <strong>Valeria Elisabet Minjolou, Maria Carlota Mensua de Frutos and Carla Laredo Moreno<\/strong>; the interdisciplinary artisan <strong>Julian Bernardo Apud Bellanti<\/strong>; the coffee roaster <strong>Antonio Vallcaneras Bonet<\/strong>; the pastry maker <strong>Katharina Posani<\/strong>; and the enamel artist <strong>Carolina Ingrid Concha Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The garden of the La Miseric\u00f2rdia cultural centre will host, <a href=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/en\/feria-artesana-navidad-misericordia\/\"> [&#8230;]<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":151699,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1514,1513],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-151768","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-culture","category-society"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.2 -
