Recently, <strong>ten new shops from Palma<\/strong> joined the programme: <strong>Carns Comas, Carnicer\u00eda Bonn\u00edn, Carnicer\u00eda Germans Vicens, Espardenyeria Llunes, Golfos Casual Wear, La Argentina \/ Donna, Mir\u00f3 Jewelry, Pescados Maril\u00e9n, Tapicer\u00eda Vidal and Xarcuteria Creus<\/strong>. With these new additions, the programme now includes a total of <strong>401<\/strong> registered establishments.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"403\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-121853 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Emblematicos-Balears.webp\" alt=\"Emblem\u00e0tics Balears\" width=\"780\" height=\"572\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"403\">This initiative of the <strong>Ag\u00e8ncia de Desenvolupament Regional de les Illes Balears<\/strong> (ADR Balears), under the Ministry of Enterprise, Self-Employment and Energy, aims to <strong>protect local commercial activity<\/strong>. Its main goal is to <strong>highlight businesses with the most history and tradition in each municipality<\/strong>. A total of <strong>34 municipalities across all the islands<\/strong> participate, including Palma, Inca, Ciutadella de Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera and Mah\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"1458\">Categories of Emblem\u00e0tics Balears<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"1458\">Emblem\u00e0tics Balears classifies shops into different categories. The <strong>Arraigats<\/strong> stand out for a <strong>unique product or trade<\/strong>. The <strong>Con historia<\/strong> shops are those with <strong>over 75 years of history, or exceptionally from 50 years<\/strong>. The <strong>Con patrimonio<\/strong> businesses have <strong>notable interior and exterior heritage elements or intangible value<\/strong>. Shops that meet all three categories are considered emblematic. Currently, there are 100 emblematic shops, 135 classified as arraigats and with history, 31 with heritage and history, 59 with history, 60 arraigats and 16 with both arraigats and heritage.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1460\" data-end=\"1650\">The programme allows municipalities to showcase their uniqueness and the richness of local commerce.
