This new infrastructure will extend the current <strong>pedestrian and cycling path<\/strong> that links <strong>Andratx<\/strong> with Camp de Mar and <strong>Port d&#8217;Andratx<\/strong>, adding one more kilometre to the route.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_121641\" style=\"width: 790px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-121641\" class=\"size-full wp-image-121641\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Vial-civico-Peguera-Camp-de-Mar.webp\" alt=\"Civic pathway Peguera-Camp de Mar\" width=\"780\" height=\"541\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-121641\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Route of the new civic pathway connecting the stretch between the Peguera and Camp de Mar roundabouts. Photo: Consell de Mallorca.<\/p><\/div>\n<p data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"822\">The route will run between the <strong>roundabout on Carrer de la Savina<\/strong> in Peguera and the <strong>roundabout on Cam\u00ed de Son Fortuny<\/strong> in Camp de Mar. The aim is to <strong>promote sustainable mobility<\/strong> and provide <strong>real alternatives to motorised transport<\/strong>, making it safer for pedestrians and cyclists to travel between the two towns, the island council stated in a press release.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"822\">The project also includes the <strong>resurfacing of the Ma-1A road<\/strong>, as the current surface is significantly <strong>worn and in need of renewal<\/strong>. The works are expected to cost <strong>\u20ac1,629,489<\/strong>, with the tender process set to conclude by November so that <strong>construction can begin before the end of the year<\/strong>.
