The event will take place between <strong>11:00 am and 8:00 pm<\/strong>, bringing together the best of local production around one of the island\u2019s most iconic ingredients: the <strong>almond<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"652\" data-end=\"1050\">Organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.almendramallorca.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"733\">Geographical Indication (IGP) \u2018Ametlla de Mallorca\u2019<\/strong><\/a>, the fair aims to <strong>highlight the value<\/strong> of this native product and its <strong>key role in the island\u2019s cuisine<\/strong>. Throughout the day, visitors will be able to discover, taste, and purchase products made with Mallorcan almonds, such as <strong><em data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"974\">gat\u00f3<\/em>, ice cream, chocolate, cheese, sweet and savoury tapas<\/strong>, among other delicacies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1470\">The <strong data-start=\"1055\" data-end=\"1079\">Mallorcan almond<\/strong> stands out thanks to its <strong data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1161\">high lipid content and fatty acid profile<\/strong>, which, together with its <strong data-start=\"1182\" data-end=\"1206\">aromatic intensity<\/strong>, gives it a unique flavour and character. Whether raw or roasted, with or without skin, in both organic and conventional forms, this almond is a true culinary gem with countless uses, deeply rooted in the island\u2019s gastronomic culture.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1470\">Support from PalmaActiva for the <strong data-start=\"429\" data-end=\"466\">III Fira de l\u2019Ametlla de Mallorca<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1855\">The event also enjoys the <strong data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1537\">support of Palma City Council<\/strong> through <strong data-start=\"1551\" data-end=\"1566\">PalmaActiva<\/strong>, which has helped with managing the public space and promoting the event.
