As in every edition, <em><strong>Mallorca Global Mag<\/strong><\/em> hits the streets to talk to some of its most international residents and hear their stories.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-120547 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Gente-Global_01-e1749636981119.webp\" alt=\"Global people\" width=\"585\" height=\"780\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Names<\/strong>: Mary, Erik, Deia and Clara Strandgren.<br \/>\n<strong>Country of origin<\/strong>: Switzerland and Sweden.<br \/>\n<strong>Time in Mallorca<\/strong>: 5 years.<br \/>\n<strong>Profession<\/strong>: Digital marketing and aviation.<\/p>\n<p>The couple formed by Mary,\u00a0of Swiss origin, and her husband Erik, born in Sweden, arrived on the island five years ago for\u00a0work reasons, accompanied by their daughters Deia and Clara, who are now 16 and 12 years old, respectively. Erik&#8217;s job at Son Sant Joan airport brought them to the island, and the climate invited them to stay. &#8220;We love it,&#8221; Mary says without hesitation, noting that they can enjoy the outdoors all year round, something that contrasts with the harsh weather in their home countries. &#8220;In Mallorca\u00a0you can always be outside, and we are always outside, in winter and in summer&#8221;. Although they don&#8217;t know if it will be forever, for the moment they enjoy everything the island has to offer.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-120549 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Gente-Global_04.webp\" alt=\"Global people\" width=\"780\" height=\"585\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Name<\/strong>: Mar\u00eda Florencia Tordini.<br \/>\n<strong>Country of origin<\/strong>: Argentina.<br \/>\n<strong>Time in Mallorca<\/strong>: 7 years.<br \/>\n<strong>Profession<\/strong>: Public relations.<\/p>\n<p>She came to spend a summer but&#8230; &#8220;the island caught me&#8221;, she admits, who loves &#8220;the mix of cultures and the multiple options that Mallorca offers: beach, mountains&#8230;&#8221;. According to this Argentinian, &#8220;if you have a good job, it&#8217;s a place where you\u00a0can live very well, with a very interesting lifestyle&#8221;. I wanted to leave and I was looking for a place with\u00a0an airport well connected to Normandy.
