Photo: CAIB.<\/p><\/div>\n<p data-start=\"928\" data-end=\"1171\">This year, <strong data-start=\"948\" data-end=\"978\">25 regional deductions<\/strong> are available in the personal income tax (IRPF), <strong data-start=\"991\" data-end=\"1018\">five new ones<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1021\" data-end=\"1037\">one improved<\/strong>. Additionally, income thresholds have been raised, so that <strong data-start=\"1105\" data-end=\"1136\">8 out of 10 taxpayers<\/strong> will be able to apply some deduction.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1227\">Renta \u00c1gil service: dates, contact and municipalities<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1229\" data-end=\"1475\">From this Monday until <strong data-start=\"1257\" data-end=\"1272\">27 June<\/strong>, the Balearic Islands Tax Agency (ATIB) has opened the period to request <strong data-start=\"1359\" data-end=\"1374\">appointments<\/strong> for the Renta \u00c1gil service, which provides face-to-face assistance to prepare the IRPF tax return.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1506\">Appointments can be requested:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1507\" data-end=\"1571\">\n<li data-start=\"1507\" data-end=\"1539\">\n<p data-start=\"1509\" data-end=\"1539\">By phone: <strong data-start=\"1523\" data-end=\"1539\">971 76 76 76<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1571\">\n<p data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1571\">Online: <strong data-start=\"1556\" data-end=\"1571\"><a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.atib.es\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1558\" data-end=\"1569\">www.atib.es<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"2035\">The service is offered at <strong data-start=\"1598\" data-end=\"1635\">16 service points in Mallorca<\/strong>, located in the municipalities of <strong data-start=\"1667\" data-end=\"1812\">Alar\u00f3, Alc\u00fadia, Algaida, Andratx, Capdepera, Felanitx, Pollen\u00e7a, Porreres, Santany\u00ed, Santa Margalida, Ses Salines, Sineu, S\u00f3ller, Valldemossa<\/strong> and in premises ceded in <strong data-start=\"1837\" data-end=\"1849\">Esporles<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1852\" data-end=\"1865\">Fornalutx<\/strong>. Additionally, they provide coverage to another <strong data-start=\"1897\" data-end=\"1915\">35 localities<\/strong> such as <strong data-start=\"1921\" data-end=\"2021\">Art\u00e0, Campos, Dei\u00e0, Muro, Montu\u00efri, Lloret, Maria de la Salut, Sant Joan, Sencelles, Son Servera<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2037\" data-end=\"2329\">Meanwhile, the State Tax Administration Agency (AEAT) maintains its service in <strong data-start=\"2130\" data-end=\"2169\">Palma, Ibiza, Mah\u00f3n, Inca and Manacor<\/strong>. Appointments can be booked at <strong data-start=\"2200\" data-end=\"2215\"><a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.aeat.es\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"2202\" data-end=\"2213\">www.aeat.es<\/a><\/strong> or by calling <strong data-start=\"2230\" data-end=\"2245\">901 223 344<\/strong>. In total, between ATIB and AEAT, there are <strong data-start=\"2280\" data-end=\"2317\">21 service points available<\/strong> in the Balearic Islands.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2331\" data-end=\"2389\">Main regional deductions for the 2024 tax return in the Balearic Islands<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2391\" data-end=\"2500\">Here are some of the most notable deductions that can be applied this year in the IRPF tax return:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2502\" data-end=\"3982\">\n<li data-start=\"2502\" data-end=\"2639\">\n<p data-start=\"2504\" data-end=\"2639\"><strong data-start=\"2504\" data-end=\"2558\">Deduction for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis)<\/strong>: Covers <strong data-start=\"2569\" data-end=\"2592\">100% of expenses<\/strong> related to the condition, up to a maximum of <strong data-start=\"2623\" data-end=\"2638\">3,500 euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2643\" data-end=\"2896\">\n<p data-start=\"2645\" data-end=\"2896\"><strong data-start=\"2645\" data-end=\"2706\">Care for people over 65 or with disabilities<\/strong>: Up to <strong data-start=\"2714\" data-end=\"2727\">660 euros<\/strong> for costs of residential care, day centres, or hiring carers. Improved to allow application by all taxpayers regarding common ascendants.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2898\" data-end=\"3304\">\n<p data-start=\"2900\" data-end=\"3304\"><strong data-start=\"2900\" data-end=\"2946\">Difficult-to-fill or very difficult-to-fill jobs<\/strong>: Deduction of <strong data-start=\"2962\" data-end=\"2970\">40%<\/strong> on housing or inter-island transport costs. Limits of <strong data-start=\"3030\" data-end=\"3053\">1,000 or 2,000 euros<\/strong>, depending on income level. Increased by <strong data-start=\"3094\" data-end=\"3148\">30% for public workers based in Formentera<\/strong> and reduced by 30% for those based in Mallorca. For the first time, includes <strong data-start=\"3229\" data-end=\"3281\">National Police and Civil Guard officers<\/strong> stationed in Balearics.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3306\" data-end=\"3574\">\n<p data-start=\"3308\" data-end=\"3574\"><strong data-start=\"3308\" data-end=\"3343\">Permanent housing rental<\/strong>: Deduction of <strong data-start=\"3359\" data-end=\"3381\">50% of expenses<\/strong> (insurance, maintenance, energy certificates, etc.), up to <strong data-start=\"3446\" data-end=\"3461\">1,500 euros<\/strong>, or <strong data-start=\"3465\" data-end=\"3480\">1,800 euros<\/strong> if rented to the Autonomous Community for subletting under programmes like <strong data-start=\"3554\" data-end=\"3573\">Secure Rental<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3576\" data-end=\"3802\">\n<p data-start=\"3578\" data-end=\"3802\"><strong data-start=\"3578\" data-end=\"3618\">Registration as self-employed (new deduction)<\/strong>: <strong data-start=\"3620\" data-end=\"3635\">1,000 euros<\/strong> for those registering for the first time. Income limits have been raised, and it can be applied per family member in joint taxation cases.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3804\" data-end=\"3982\">\n<p data-start=\"3806\" data-end=\"3982\"><strong data-start=\"3806\" data-end=\"3829\">Childbirth<\/strong>: Income limits extended to <strong data-start=\"3865\" data-end=\"3894\">52,800 euros (individual)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"3897\" data-end=\"3924\">84,480 euros (joint)<\/strong>.
