This initiative, organised by the <strong>Gremi de Llibreters de Mallorca (Booksellers&#8217; Guild of Mallorca)<\/strong> with the support of the <strong>Consell de Mallorca<\/strong> and in collaboration with the <strong>Ajuntament de Palma<\/strong>, serves as a <strong>pilot test<\/strong> to <strong>enhance the visibility and reach of the event<\/strong>. A total of <strong>18 bookshops from Palma<\/strong> will take part in this edition of the Fira del Llibre 2025, offering a wide <strong>range of titles for all audiences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_44764\" style=\"width: 790px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-44764\" class=\"wp-image-44764\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/fira-del-llibre-palma-facebook-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Fira del Llibre\" width=\"780\" height=\"585\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-44764\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Image from a previous edition of the Fira del Llibre in Palma.<\/p><\/div>\n<p data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"882\">Following the <strong>completion of renovation works in this iconic city space<\/strong>, the organisers have chosen the Pla\u00e7a d\u2019Espanya as the new venue for the fair, aiming to attract a broader audience and allow for sustainable growth in future editions. According to the Gremi de Llibreters, the main goal is to <strong>bring books closer to citizens in a central and busy area<\/strong>. \u201cOur aim is for <strong>books to meet people<\/strong>, which is why we decided to move the Fira to one of the most <strong>central and bustling locations in Palma<\/strong> such as the Pla\u00e7a d\u2019Espanya,\u201d they state.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"884\" data-end=\"1291\">The <strong>opening ceremony<\/strong> of the Fira del Llibre 2025 in Palma will take place on the <strong>afternoon of Friday 30 May<\/strong> at the <strong>main stage<\/strong>, located next to the <strong>statue of King Jaume I<\/strong>. Over the course of the <strong>ten-day event<\/strong>, this stage will host a variety of <strong>cultural activities, including book presentations, storytelling sessions, talks and concerts<\/strong>.
