The <strong>contemporary dance festival<\/strong> will take place from <strong data-start=\"426\" data-end=\"454\">April 26 to May 5<\/strong>, with a programme that focuses on <strong>quality, diverse proposals, and a wide range of venues<\/strong>, both conventional and unique.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_118897\" style=\"width: 790px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-118897\" class=\"size-full wp-image-118897\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Palma-Dansa.webp\" alt=\"Palma Dansa 2025\" width=\"780\" height=\"527\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-118897\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: PalmaCultura.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Directed by <a href=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/en\/swans-new-dance-piece-mar-aguilo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"638\">Mar Aguil\u00f3<\/strong><\/a>, a dancer with a distinguished international career \u2014including 15 years with the Compa\u00f1\u00eda Nacional de Danza under the direction of figures such as Nacho Duato and William Forsythe\u2014 the festival once again makes Palma a point of reference for dance.<\/p>\n<h2>Dance for all audiences<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"895\" data-end=\"1293\">The opening will take place on <strong data-start=\"927\" data-end=\"949\">Saturday, April 26<\/strong> at <strong data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"966\">Sa Llotja<\/strong> with the performance of <em data-start=\"992\" data-end=\"1012\">L\u2019amor x Sa Llotja<\/em>, a show that combines contemporary dance and flamenco, led by <strong data-start=\"1082\" data-end=\"1099\">Alice Godfrey<\/strong> and directed by <strong data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1133\">Eduardo Rivero<\/strong>. On the same day, <strong data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1168\">Pla\u00e7a Major<\/strong> will host <strong data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1195\">Palma Balla<\/strong>, a major showcase of local dance schools to celebrate International Dance Day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1295\" data-end=\"1601\">Among the most anticipated activities is the <strong data-start=\"1350\" data-end=\"1370\">closing gala<\/strong> at <strong data-start=\"1377\" data-end=\"1399\">Castell de Bellver<\/strong> on <strong data-start=\"1404\" data-end=\"1417\">May 4<\/strong>, with the performance of <em data-start=\"1438\" data-end=\"1448\">Degunino<\/em>, starring <strong data-start=\"1468\" data-end=\"1488\">Maria Kochetkova<\/strong> and choreographed by <strong data-start=\"1509\" data-end=\"1525\">Marcos Morau<\/strong>, one of the most recognised Spanish choreographers in the international scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1603\" data-end=\"1747\">The festival will also feature <strong>masterclasses, discussions, screenings, and other formats<\/strong> designed to bring dance to <strong>all types of audiences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Palma Dansa 2025 Programme<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Saturday 26 April<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"224\" data-end=\"440\"><strong data-start=\"224\" data-end=\"246\">L\u2019Amor x Sa Llotja<\/strong> \u2014 <em data-start=\"249\" data-end=\"260\">Sa Llotja<\/em><br data-start=\"260\" data-end=\"263\" \/>Inauguration of Palma Dansa 2025.
