For more information, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/en\/demolicion-construcciones-ilegales-son-banya\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>this link<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-118788\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Demolicion-2-Son-Banya.webp\" alt=\"Son Banya\" width=\"780\" height=\"519\" \/> Photos: Palma City Council.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"991\">The operation began at around <strong>09:00 hours<\/strong> this morning and involved various municipal departments, such as <strong>Urbanism and the Local Police<\/strong>, as well as several teams from the <strong>National Police<\/strong>. On this occasion, the demolition included <strong>a large tent and several sheds<\/strong> built from different materials: one prefabricated, one made of concrete blocks measuring approximately five square metres, one metallic, and one wooden about 40 square metres. Several abandoned vehicles were also removed, including <strong>a lorry and two excavators<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"991\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-118790 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Demolicion-2-Son-Banya-2.webp\" alt=\"Son Banya\" width=\"780\" height=\"520\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"991\">Immediate response<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"991\">The Mayor of Palma, <strong>Jaime Mart\u00ednez Llabr\u00e9s,<\/strong> emphasised the <strong>immediate response<\/strong> from the council to these illegal constructions, highlighting that the municipal government &#8220;will continue to act against any illegality&#8221;.
