Since 2010<\/strong>, La Lluna en Vers<\/strong> -The Moon in Verse- has transformed Mallorca\u2019s summer nights into a unique gathering of music, poetry, and theatre<\/strong>. In its 2025<\/strong> edition, the festival returns with a programme that invites audiences to discover new sounds and artistic expressions<\/strong>, keeping the spoken word as its central theme. From 21 June to 6 September<\/strong>, it will offer 13 open-air cultural nights<\/strong>, featuring performances that blend tradition and modernity in unique venues across the island.<\/p>\n

As in previous years, La Lluna en Vers 2025<\/strong> will take place in Binissalem, Santany\u00ed, and Sant Joan<\/strong>, the venues of the Fundaci\u00f3 Mallorca Liter\u00e0ria<\/strong>. This year, new locations are added: Porreres, Montu\u00efri, and Col\u00f2nia de Sant Pere<\/strong>. This expansion strengthens its decentralised nature and brings a diverse programme to the public, where music, poetry, and theatre intertwine.<\/p>\n

Renowned Artists and Emerging Talent<\/h3>\n

This year’s lineup features both well-established artists and rising talent. Among the most notable names are Sole\u00e1 Morente and Ni\u00f1o de Elche<\/strong>, who will perform a double concert in Sant Joan; pianist and composer Clara Peya<\/strong>, presenting her show Cors\u00e9<\/em> in Binissalem; and singer-songwriter J\u00falia Colom<\/strong>, who will perform in Porreres as part of the Mobofest Festival. Additionally, the multi-talented Christina Rosenvinge<\/strong> will perform on 27 June in Binissalem with Los versos s\u00e1ficos<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This edition will feature performances in Catalan, Spanish, Italian, Algherese, Basque, and Arabic<\/strong>, showcasing a variety of styles ranging from hip-hop and electronic music to flamenco copla, tarantella, and Murcian jota<\/strong>. Additionally, the festival will pay tribute to great literary figures such as Blai Bonet, V\u00edctor Catal\u00e0, Maria Merc\u00e8 Mar\u00e7al, Enric Casasses, and C\u00e8lia Vi\u00f1as<\/strong>, along with evocations of Lorca and Sappho.<\/p>\n

Organised by the Fundaci\u00f3 Mallorca Liter\u00e0ria<\/strong> with the support of the Consell de Mallorca<\/strong>, La Lluna en Vers 2025<\/strong> has established itself as a must-attend event in the island\u2019s cultural calendar, offering a programme that surprises and moves audiences each year.<\/p>\n
