This increase will <strong>improve connections between Palma and Inca<\/strong> and the <strong>metro line to the UIB<\/strong>, expanding capacity by <strong>3,500 seats during peak hours<\/strong>. These reinforcements continue the improvements implemented in 2023 and are part of a progressive plan to increase frequencies and special services.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"677\" data-end=\"717\"><strong data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"715\">\ud83d\ude86 New Train Services<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"718\" data-end=\"1201\">\n<li data-start=\"718\" data-end=\"786\"><strong data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"784\">3 new trains in the daily timetable (Monday to Friday).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"874\"><strong data-start=\"789\" data-end=\"811\">Added times:<\/strong>\n<ul data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"874\">\n<li data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"848\">Inca-Palma: 6:08 am and 6:38 am.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"874\">Palma-Inca: 6:00 am.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"1201\"><strong data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"889\">Impact:<\/strong>\n<ul data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"1201\">\n<li data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"1001\">The first train from Inca is brought forward by 10 minutes, now arriving at the Intermodal station at 6:42 am.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1120\">The Inca-Palma train at 6:38 am will relieve the heavily occupied Manacor-Palma train at 6:16 am.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1123\" data-end=\"1201\">Increase of <strong data-start=\"1139\" data-end=\"1155\">1,000 seats<\/strong> in the peak-hour service capacity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1203\" data-end=\"1245\"><strong data-start=\"1207\" data-end=\"1243\">\ud83d\ude87 Reinforcement on the Metro to UIB<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1246\" data-end=\"1848\">\n<li data-start=\"1246\" data-end=\"1320\"><strong data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1318\">New services in the high-demand period (13:35 pm &#8211; 14:35 pm).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1321\" data-end=\"1606\"><strong data-start=\"1323\" data-end=\"1348\">Modified times:<\/strong>\n<ul data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1606\">\n<li data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1478\">Intermodal-UIB:\n<ul data-start=\"1377\" data-end=\"1478\">\n<li data-start=\"1377\" data-end=\"1431\">The 13:55 pm metro is brought forward to 13:50 pm.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1436\" data-end=\"1478\">An additional metro service is introduced at 14:00 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1481\" data-end=\"1606\">UIB-Intermodal:\n<ul data-start=\"1505\" data-end=\"1606\">\n<li data-start=\"1505\" data-end=\"1559\">The 14:15 pm metro is brought forward to 14:10 pm.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1564\" data-end=\"1606\">An additional metro service is introduced at 14:20 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1607\" data-end=\"1848\"><strong data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1621\">Impact:<\/strong>\n<ul data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1848\">\n<li data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1681\">An additional <strong data-start=\"1637\" data-end=\"1655\">840 seats<\/strong> are added during this time period.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1684\" data-end=\"1795\">The reinforcement introduced in September is maintained with <strong data-start=\"1740\" data-end=\"1793\">4 extra services in the morning (7:15 am &#8211; 9:15 am).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1798\" data-end=\"1848\">Total increase of <strong data-start=\"1817\" data-end=\"1833\">2,500 seats<\/strong> on the metro.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"2231\" data-end=\"2274\"><strong data-start=\"2235\" data-end=\"2272\">\ud83d\ude89 Introduction of New Trains<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"2275\" data-end=\"2670\">\n<li data-start=\"2275\" data-end=\"2405\">Since <strong data-start=\"2286\" data-end=\"2300\">5th March<\/strong>, the new trains purchased by SFM are already operating on the Sa Pobla line with <strong data-start=\"2379\" data-end=\"2402\">8 daily services<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2406\" data-end=\"2476\"><strong data-start=\"2408\" data-end=\"2433\">2 quad units<\/strong> have already been operating on the metro since September.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2477\" data-end=\"2539\"><strong data-start=\"2479\" data-end=\"2499\">Another 3 units<\/strong> have started operating on the train network.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2540\" data-end=\"2670\"><strong data-start=\"2542\" data-end=\"2568\">Total: 5 new trains<\/strong> that completed testing in December and whose drivers have received practical and
