Both films, which have also been well received by audiences, were the <strong>standout productions<\/strong> at the Goya Awards 2025, in one of the <strong>most evenly contested<\/strong> ceremonies in recent years, with a total of nine films winning awards.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_116998\" style=\"width: 790px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-116998\" class=\"size-full wp-image-116998\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/DSC7255-1024x676-1.webp\" alt=\"Goya Awards 2025, Best Film.\" width=\"780\" height=\"520\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-116998\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: \u00a9Alberto Ortega. Goya Awards 2025. www.premiosgoya.com<\/p><\/div>\n<p><em>El 47<\/em>, directed by <strong>Marcel Barrera<\/strong> and based on the true story of a bus driver who hijacked his own vehicle to demand better conditions for his neighbourhood in Torre Bar\u00f3 (Barcelona), won <strong>five awards<\/strong> out of the 14 it was nominated for, including Best Film, <strong>Best Supporting Actor and Actress (Salva Reina and Clara Segura, respectively), Best Production Design, and Best Special Effects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-112455\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/la_infiltrada-537503432-large.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"371\" \/>Meanwhile, <em>La infiltrada<\/em> started with 13 nominations and secured <strong>two awards<\/strong> at the Goya Awards 2025: Best Film and <strong>Best Leading Actress for Carolina Yuste<\/strong>, who won the second Goya of her career.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eduard Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> won the <strong>Best Leading Actor<\/strong> award for his role in <strong><em>Marco<\/em><\/strong>, a drama directed by Jon Gara\u00f1o and Aitor Arregi about Enric Marco Batlle, the trade unionist who falsified his biography to present himself as a survivor of a Nazi concentration camp. Additionally, <em>Marco<\/em> also won the award for <strong>Best Makeup and Hairstyling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Segundo premio<\/em><\/strong>, filmed in Granada, won <strong>three awards<\/strong>: <strong>Best Director (Isaki Lacuesta and Pol Rodr\u00edguez), Best Editing, and Best Sound<\/strong>. Meanwhile, <strong><em>La habitaci\u00f3n de al lado<\/em><\/strong>, by <strong>Pedro Almod\u00f3var<\/strong>, won Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Original Score.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony, hosted by <strong>Maribel Verd\u00fa and Leonor Watling<\/strong>, also paid tribute to <strong>Marisa Paredes<\/strong>, who passed away in December, and celebrated the legacy of <strong><em>Mar adentro<\/em><\/strong>, the <strong>most awarded<\/strong> film in Goya history.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Honorary and International Goya: Aitana S\u00e1nchez-Gij\u00f3n and Richard Gere, highlights of the night<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>One of the most emotional moments of the gala was the presentation of the <strong>Honorary Goya<\/strong> to <strong>Aitana S\u00e1nchez-Gij\u00f3n<\/strong>. With this recognition, she becomes the ninth woman to receive this distinction. In her speech, the actress reflected on her career, recalling her <strong>four decades in cinema<\/strong> and her early beginnings in theatre at just <strong>12 years old<\/strong> in <em>La Barraca<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the <strong>International Goya<\/strong> was awarded to <strong>Richard Gere<\/strong>, in a heartfelt presentation by <strong>Antonio Banderas<\/strong>.
