The Carnival<\/strong> is just around the corner, and Palma<\/strong> is getting ready to experience one of its most anticipated events of the year: Sa Rua 2025<\/strong>. On Sunday, 2nd March, from 17:00<\/strong>, the city will be filled with music, colour, and creativity as the grand parade of floats and troupes makes its way through the streets, turning them into the epicentre of fun and festivity in the capital of Mallorca.<\/p>\n

In this edition, <\/strong>Sa Rua 2025 in Palma will begin at the junction of La Rambla and Carrer dels Oms<\/strong> and will end at the junction of Avinguda de Jaume III and Passeig de Mallorca<\/strong>. Along the route, thousands of spectators will enjoy this unique spectacle, where the imagination and ingenuity of the participants will take centre stage. At 16:00, all participants are required to gather at the meeting point, located along Carrer Bar\u00f3 de Pinopar, Avinguda Alemanya, and Avinguda Comte de Sallent. As every year, at the end of the parade, the most original and striking floats and troupes will be awarded prizes.<\/p>\n

However, Carnival in Palma is not just for adults. On Sunday, 23rd February<\/strong>, the little ones will be able to enjoy Sa Rueta<\/strong>, the children’s version of the celebration, which will fill the city centre streets with activities from 10:30 to 14:00<\/strong>, including parades, entertainment, and music in a safe and fun environment for the whole family. Meanwhile, on Saturday, 1st March<\/strong>, from 15:00<\/strong>, Sa Rua de S\u2019Arenal<\/strong> will take over the Pla\u00e7a de les Meravelles<\/strong>, featuring floats, music, and costumes that will bring vibrant festive energy to this coastal area.<\/p>\n

Sa Rua 2025 in Palma: The Grand Carnival Parade<\/h2>\n

Without a doubt, Sa Rua 2025 in Palma is the main event of the Carnival in the island’s capital and the most spectacular parade of the year. From 17:00 onwards, troupes and floats will parade through the streets with elaborate costumes, dances, and music. The most creative groups will be awarded at the end of the route, in a celebration reminiscent of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival but with a unique Mallorcan touch.<\/p>\n
