Photo: Consell de Mallorca.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Vice-President of the Consell de Mallorca and Minister of Culture and Heritage, <strong>Ant\u00f2nia Roca<\/strong>, has celebrated the results of the surveys and announced the <strong>commencement of the drafting of the basic project<\/strong> to define the requirements of the facility. This process will be carried out in <strong>collaboration with the Town Hall of Alc\u00fadia<\/strong>, with the aim of <strong>involving local residents<\/strong> in decisions regarding the development of the centre.<\/p>\n<h3>The Archaeology Centre of Mallorca will house 40,000 pieces from various Mallorcan archaeological sites<\/h3>\n<p>With this progress, a crucial step is taken towards the realisation of the Archaeology Centre of Mallorca, a <strong>key space for the conservation, study, and dissemination<\/strong> of the <strong>historical heritage<\/strong> of the island. The centre will house <strong>more than 40,000 archaeological pieces<\/strong> found at <strong>various Mallorcan archaeological sites<\/strong>, which are currently stored with no public access. The project aims to turn this space into an <strong>international benchmark<\/strong> in the archaeological field.<\/p>\n<p>The future centre will feature <strong>modern facilities<\/strong>, including <strong>multifunctional rooms<\/strong> equipped for research and heritage dissemination, which will facilitate the conservation and understanding of Mallorca&#8217;s history.
