This celebration, regarded as one of the <strong>most iconic festivals in Mallorca<\/strong>, honours <strong>Sant Antoni Abat<\/strong>, the patron saint of animals, with a programme featuring <strong><em>foguerons<\/em><\/strong>, <strong>parades, blessings<\/strong>, <strong>music<\/strong>, and the spectacular <strong><em>correfocs<\/em><\/strong> led by the <strong><em>dimonis<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_114188\" style=\"width: 790px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-114188\" class=\"size-full wp-image-114188\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/SantAntoni_Muro.webp\" alt=\"Festes de Sant Antoni de Muro.\" width=\"780\" height=\"505\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-114188\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Image from a previous edition of Sant Antoni in Muro. Photo: Ajuntament de Muro.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The <strong>Thursday, 16 January<\/strong> will mark the start of the <em><strong>Revetla de Sant Antoni<\/strong><\/em>, a magical night when the streets of Muro come alive with <strong>bonfires<\/strong> and the <strong>dance of fire<\/strong>. From <strong>19:45 h<\/strong>, the <em>dimonis<\/em> and Sant Antoni will parade through the town centre, accompanied by the <strong>Uni\u00f3 Art\u00edstica Murera<\/strong> band. The evening will continue with the <em>correfoc<\/em> and the traditional <strong>torrades<\/strong>. Attendees can enjoy live music with bands such as <strong>Revetla d\u2019Algebel\u00ed<\/strong> and <strong>Seda\u00e7<\/strong>, culminating in the <strong>Festa Jove<\/strong> at Pla\u00e7a Sant Mart\u00ed featuring <strong>Gas Butano<\/strong>, <strong>Lluis Perell\u00f3 DJ<\/strong>, and <strong>DJ Xisqueta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On <strong>Friday, 17 January<\/strong>, the <strong>main day of the festival<\/strong>, a <strong>solemn mass<\/strong> in honour of Sant Antoni Abat will be held at the <strong>Esgl\u00e9sia Parroquial de Sant Joan Baptista<\/strong>. Later, pets and livestock will take centre stage at the <em><strong>Bene\u00efdes<\/strong><\/em>, a blessing ceremony that brings together residents and visitors in a deeply symbolic event.
