The Consell de Mallorca<\/strong>, through its Department of Tourism, has secured a grant of \u20ac4.88 million<\/strong> from the Ministry of Industry and Tourism to establish itself as a leader in tourism intelligence and monitoring<\/strong>. This funding, channelled through the State Company for Tourism Innovation and Technology Management (Segittur), is part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan promoted by the Spanish Government.<\/p>\n

Mallorca PID: an integrated tourism management project<\/h4>\n

The grant will fund the development of the Smart Destination Platform (PID)<\/strong>, a comprehensive technological system designed to gather and analyse all available tourism information<\/strong> at the Consell de Mallorca. This initiative aims to enhance the island\u2019s tourism management and planning through data integration from multiple sources.<\/p>\n

The project, known as Mallorca PID<\/strong>, has a total budget of \u20ac5.06 million<\/strong>, with 96%<\/strong> covered by the awarded funding.<\/p>\n
