The Balearic Association of Family Businesses<\/strong> (ABEF), which is celebrating its 25th anniversary<\/strong> in 2024<\/strong>, has commissioned the agency Mallorca Global, marketing and communication workshop<\/em><\/strong> to create a commemorative book<\/strong> for this significant milestone. The book, with its luxury binding<\/strong>, chronicles the 25 years of history<\/strong> of the ABEF, from its founding to the present day. Its pages highlight the association\u2019s most important achievements and its impact on the economy and society of the Balearic Islands<\/strong>, which has led the association to become a leading figure for family businesses in the region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Through interviews, testimonies, and accounts from key figures<\/strong> who have led the association, the book offers a comprehensive view<\/strong> of how the organisation has solidified. It also includes a special section<\/strong>, the largest in the volume, dedicated to reviewing the history of the member companies<\/strong>, with images from both the past and present, allowing readers to explore an interesting and detailed historical period alongside the different family generations who have managed these businesses.<\/p>\n

In the chapter titled “The Legacy of ABEF”<\/strong>, the main initiatives and projects driven by the organisation<\/strong> are highlighted, from training programmes to charitable campaigns, among others.<\/p>\n

The content of the book not only offers a detailed chronicle of the ABEF and its milestones over the 25 years but also reviews the significant changes experienced by Balearic society<\/strong> during this period in various areas, including demography, social structure, family, tourism, business, and sport<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
