The new brand, which arises from a thorough <strong>listening and analysis process<\/strong>, reflects the <strong>balance between tradition and innovation<\/strong>, highlighting the core values of the island. With distinct slogans for residents and visitors \u2014 <strong>&#8220;Ca Nostra&#8221;<\/strong> for the <strong>Mallorcans<\/strong> and <strong>&#8220;The island of tomorrow&#8221;<\/strong> for <strong>tourists<\/strong> \u2014 the initiative seeks to promote a <strong>responsible tourism model<\/strong>, where <strong>visitors<\/strong> are treated as <strong>&#8220;temporary residents&#8221;<\/strong>, respecting the place as if it were their own home.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_112174\" style=\"width: 790px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-112174\" class=\"size-full wp-image-112174\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Presentacion-de-la-Marca-Mallorca-2024-1.webp\" alt=\"Presentaci\u00f3n de la Marca Mallorca 2024 1\" width=\"780\" height=\"520\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-112174\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The brand incorporates elements of the island, such as its colours and artisan traditions, highlighting the ikat design, or &#8220;teles de lleng\u00fces&#8221;, as a symbol of identity. Photo: Consell de Mallorca.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The project has been led by world-renowned branding expert <strong>Andy Stalman<\/strong>, in collaboration with the <strong>TOTEM Branding<\/strong> team, who carried out a thorough consultation process. This included around 100 interviews and meetings with representatives from the island&#8217;s social and economic fabric to gather their concerns, aspirations, and visions for tourism. Through this process, the need to <strong>transform Mallorca&#8217;s tourist image<\/strong> was identified, prioritising <strong>coexistence<\/strong>, <strong>protection of cultural and natural heritage<\/strong>, and the promotion of <strong>sustainable development<\/strong> that benefits future generations.<\/p>\n<h2>Change of Perspective<\/h2>\n<p>The new strategy involves not only a change in image or logo but also a <strong>deep change of perspective<\/strong>. The aim is for Mallorca to not only be a leading international tourist destination but also a place where <strong>authenticity, culture, and respect for nature<\/strong> are fundamental pillars. Photo: Consell de Mallorca.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>During the presentation, the President of Consell de Mallorca, <strong>Lloren\u00e7 Galm\u00e9s<\/strong>, emphasised that tourism is the island&#8217;s main economic driver but underlined the need to adopt a more responsible model.
