During the ceremony, Prohens expressed her confidence in the tourism sector&#8217;s ability to lead a transformation towards a more sustainable and resilient model. &#8220;This is a key moment to move towards a tourism model that generates well-being and opportunities for all Balearic residents,&#8221; said the president.<\/p>\n<p>Prohens emphasized that, despite the success of the season, marked by an increase in visitors and higher tourism spending, it is crucial to take bold measures to ensure the economic, social, and environmental sustainability of the islands. The president highlighted the importance of the Table for the Social and Political Pact for Sustainability, whose roadmap will outline steps towards a more environmentally respectful tourism, focused on the well-being of the community.<\/p>\n<h2>Winners of the Balearic Islands Tourism Night 2024<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-109681\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/premios-nit-del-turisme-2024-balears.webp\" alt=\"premios nit del turisme 2024 balears\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1362\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At this Balearic Islands Tourism Night 2024, 18 individuals and entities were recognized for their contributions to innovation, social responsibility, and excellence in the sector. Among the awardees, standout projects included the first circular wine of the Balearic Islands, created in collaboration between Arabella Hospitality and Maci\u00e0 Batle wineries, and the Menorcan company Mabrian for its advances in tourism intelligence.
