The Government of the Balearic Islands<\/strong> has approved, for the first time unanimously, the commercial opening calendar<\/strong> for holidays and Sundays in 2025. The decision was made during the Inter-Island Advisory Commission on Commerce<\/strong>, with representatives from the Island Councils<\/strong>, trade unions, and business associations from the sector participating.<\/p>\n

A historic consensus in the commercial sector<\/h3>\n

The Minister of Business, Employment, and Energy of Balearic Islands, Alejandro S\u00e1enz de San Pedro<\/strong>, emphasised the significance of the achieved consensus: “This is the first time the Commission has unanimously approved the opening calendar for Sundays and holidays for the year 2025. I want to congratulate and thank all the representatives from trade unions, business associations, and organisations for their dialogue and reaching an agreement.”<\/p>\n
