The programme includes a total of <strong>234 activities<\/strong> and <strong>3,881 places<\/strong> across 11 casals de barri.<\/p>\n<h3>Increase in activities and places<\/h3>\n<p>This year, the number of scheduled activities has increased significantly, reflecting the growing demand from citizens. In total, there will be <strong>4,363 hours of activities<\/strong> distributed across various themes, and the programme will take place in the <strong>11 casals de barri<\/strong> directly managed by the Ajuntament de Palma, including S\u2019Escorxador, Santa Catalina, Es Jonquet, Camp d\u2019en Serralta, Pere Garau, Son Gotleu, Son Espanyol, Sant Agust\u00ed, Son Cladera, Sant Jordi, and S\u2019Hostalot.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-109401 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/FotoLourdesRoca-1.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"780\" height=\"520\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Themes of the activities<\/h3>\n<p>The activities will be grouped into different thematic areas, offering a wide variety of options for all ages and interests. The main categories include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Visual arts<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Physical and mental wellbeing<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Nutrition and health<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dance and movement<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Educational and creative activities<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Children\u2019s and family activities<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Crafts, handicrafts, and restoration<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Physical activities and eastern disciplines<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Physical and movement activities are the most popular, and therefore have the largest number of groups and available places.<\/p>\n<h3>Registrations: In-person and online<\/h3>\n<p>The registration process will begin on <strong>18th September<\/strong> at 9:00 am for the S\u2019Escorxador and Santa Catalina-Jonquet casals, and at 5:00 pm for the remaining casals.<\/p>\n<p>Registrations can be made both <strong>online<\/strong> and <strong>in person<\/strong>. It is recommended to use the online platform available on the casals de barri website to speed up the process, as high demand is expected.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, to encourage participation, during the first few days of registration (from 18th to 23rd September), each person will only be able to sign up for one activity, allowing more residents to access the available places. From <strong>24th September<\/strong>, it will be possible to sign up for more than one activity or in more than one casal.<\/p>\n<h3>Public prices and discounts<\/h3>\n<p>The prices of the activities will remain the same as in previous years, with a fee of <strong>\u20ac2 per session<\/strong>, which equates to approximately <strong>\u20ac44 per term<\/strong> for activities with 22 sessions.
