On the upcoming 21st of September<\/strong>, the streets and galleries of Palma will be filled with contemporary art during the celebration of the Nit de l’Art 2024<\/strong>, one of the most important events on Mallorca’s cultural calendar. Organised by Palma Art Contemporani<\/a><\/strong>, the event will bring together local and international artists for a night filled with exhibitions, performances, and activities that will transform the city into an open-air museum.<\/p>\n

Programme at Palma City Council’s venues<\/h2>\n

The Nit de l’Art will include key cultural spaces from the Palma City Council<\/strong>, such as Casal Solleric<\/strong> and Can Balaguer<\/strong>. At Casal Solleric<\/strong>, visitors will enjoy the exhibition Inter-acciones<\/em> by Concha Jerez<\/strong>, which explores social critique through multimedia art. There will also be Un ligero vuelo<\/em> by Cecilia Paredes<\/strong> and the exhibition Prender la mirada<\/em>, inviting reflection on vision and art.<\/p>\n

At Can Balaguer<\/strong>, visitors will be able to discover the project Arts & Crafts<\/em> with works by Mar Guerrero<\/strong> and Cristina Vinyals<\/strong>, blending contemporary art and artisanal design, as well as the exhibition Connexi\u00f3 Vostell. Berl\u00edn \u2013 Malpartida \u2013 Palma<\/em>, on display until the 29th of September.<\/p>\n

Exhibitions at La Miseric\u00f2rdia and other Consell de Mallorca spaces<\/h2>\n

The Consell de Mallorca<\/strong> will also be part of the Nit de l’Art<\/strong> with an impressive programme at the La Miseric\u00f2rdia Cultural Centre<\/strong>. Among the five new exhibitions, highlights include El Bosc Encantat<\/em> by Lin Utzon<\/strong> and Marta Blasco<\/strong>, Relats de Quotidianitat<\/em> by Manu Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, and Geometr\u00edas del alma<\/em> by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Yturralde<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition, at the Capella de La Miseric\u00f2rdia<\/strong>, the exhibition Peces del m\u00f3n<\/em> will showcase selected works from the Marratx\u00ed International Ceramic Biennial<\/strong>, while in the Pati d\u2019Homes exhibition rooms, Josep Santamaria<\/strong> presents the exhibition M\u00e9s enll\u00e0 del zero<\/em>, available until December.<\/p>\n
