Santa Pon\u00e7a is preparing to host one of the most iconic festivals of the year: the Festes del Rei en Jaume 2024<\/strong>. These festivities commemorate the 795th anniversary of King Jaume I\u2019s historic landing in Mallorca. From August 28th to September 8th, the municipality of Calvi\u00e0 will come alive with cultural, historical, and recreational activities.<\/p>\n

Opening of the Festes and Rei en Jaume Awards<\/h3>\n

The official start of the festivities will take place on August 28th with the inauguration of the Premis Rei en Jaume 2024<\/strong> exhibition. This event will be held in the exhibition hall of the Calvi\u00e0 Town Hall, showcasing the winning and finalist works in the categories of painting and photography. The exhibition will be open to the public until October 31st.<\/p>\n
