Holiday rentals<\/strong> in Mallorca<\/strong> have reached an occupancy rate<\/strong> of 89 per cent<\/strong> during this month of August<\/strong>, according to data provided by Holidu<\/strong><\/a>. Through a comparative observatory<\/strong> carried out by the holiday rental portal, where prices and occupancy in different destinations across the country were analysed during the August bank holiday, it is highlighted that the island records an average<\/strong> of \u20ac359 per night<\/strong>, which represents an 8% increase<\/strong> in prices compared to last year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to Holidu, the 89% occupancy rate is “especially positive<\/strong>, as the flow of travellers benefits both the region’s economy and the hosts, who see a boost in their business during the summer period,” the portal said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Rates and occupancy levels by area<\/h2>\n

This year, holiday rentals in Mallorca show a wide variety of prices and occupancy levels<\/strong> in its main destinations, reflecting the high demand<\/strong> during the month of August. On the coast, Santany\u00ed<\/strong> has prices of \u20ac364<\/strong> per night with an occupancy rate of 82%<\/strong>, while Campos<\/strong> has rates of \u20ac376<\/strong> and 81%<\/strong> occupancy. Manacor offers prices of \u20ac349<\/strong> with an occupancy rate of 73%<\/strong>, and Calvi\u00e0<\/strong> stands at \u20ac324<\/strong>. Meanwhile, Palma<\/strong> shows prices of \u20ac309<\/strong> and an occupancy rate of 83%<\/strong>. Alc\u00fadia and Pollen\u00e7a<\/strong> have rates of \u20ac390 and \u20ac452<\/strong>, with occupancy rates of 87% and 86%<\/strong> respectively.<\/p>\n

In the interior of the island, Art\u00e0 and S\u00f3ller<\/strong> present prices of \u20ac346 and \u20ac305<\/strong>, with occupancy rates of 82% and 83%<\/strong> respectively. Can Picafort<\/strong> is the most affordable<\/strong> destination with \u20ac289<\/strong> per night and an occupancy rate of 84%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Prices by island<\/h2>\n

According to Holidu’s study, Mallorca<\/strong> has an average price of \u20ac359<\/strong> per night, while Menorca<\/strong> offers accommodation at \u20ac403<\/strong>. In the case of the Pityusic Islands, Formentera<\/strong> shows an average price of \u20ac427<\/strong>, and Ibiza<\/strong> emerges as the most expensive<\/strong> destination, with prices reaching up to \u20ac627<\/strong> per night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
