This joint action had a <strong>budget of 2.6 million euros<\/strong>. It is expected to <strong>improve access to Palma and the school area<\/strong>. Meanwhile, the reformation of the roundabout was managed by the island&#8217;s department of <strong>Infrastructure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The duplication road, <strong>1.2 kilometres<\/strong> long, includes a <strong>bike lane, pedestrian walkway, new lighting, trees, and landscaping<\/strong>. The road, <strong>6.80 metres<\/strong> wide, has been designed to <strong>limit the speed to 50 km\/h<\/strong>, with <strong>mixed safety barriers and wooden railings<\/strong> in hazardous pedestrian areas. The reformation of the roundabout involved excavation, filling, vegetation pruning, and the installation of anti-weed mesh and decorative stone.
