Photo: Consell de Mallorca.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The <strong>most-watched show<\/strong> of the 2023\/2024 season was the opera <strong><em>Rom\u00e9o et Juliette<\/em><\/strong> by Gounod, presented in <strong>May<\/strong>, with <strong>three performances<\/strong> that attracted <strong>2,167 spectators<\/strong>. As for theater, the <strong>most-watched play<\/strong> was <em><strong>The House of Bernarda Alba<\/strong><\/em> by Federico Garc\u00eda Lorca, in a production by the <strong>National Dramatic Center<\/strong>, which gathered <strong>1,367 spectators<\/strong> in <strong>two performances<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the 2023\/2024 season, the Teatre Principal conducted <strong>10 theatrical co-productions<\/strong> with local companies and <strong>12 in-house productions<\/strong>, including lyrical, theatrical, and musical productions.<\/p>\n<h2>Hiring of 144 technical and artistic professionals<\/h2>\n<p>All this activity involved the <strong>hiring<\/strong> of <strong>144 technical and artistic professionals<\/strong> from September 2023 to June 2024. Specifically, 19 actors and actresses were hired; 24 technicians, props specialists, and costume designers; 53 choristers; 7 stage directors, musical directors, and creatives; 7 extras; 30 soloists; and 11 musicians.<\/p>\n<p>This season also saw an increase in the activity of the <strong>educational program<\/strong>. Guided tours of the Teatre Principal, mostly on <strong>Wednesdays<\/strong>, had <strong>2,172 participants<\/strong> in <strong>129 tours<\/strong>. Most of these visits came from <strong>schools<\/strong>, but there were also attendees from <strong>senior centers<\/strong>, <strong>neighborhood groups<\/strong>, and <strong>Open House<\/strong> participants.<\/p>\n<p>Another highlight was the celebration of the <strong>Opera Europa Human Resources Forum<\/strong>, which took place in May in conjunction with the opera <em>Rom\u00e9o et Juliette<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, there was an <strong>increase<\/strong> in the attendance of <strong>students<\/strong> at <strong>regular performances<\/strong>, at a reduced price of <strong>4 euros<\/strong>.
