Palma International Boat Show 2025<\/strong> (PIBS 2025) is just around the corner. The prestigious nautical fair<\/strong> that opens the Mediterranean season is scheduled from 30 April to 3 May 2025<\/strong> at Moll Vell<\/strong> in Palma<\/strong>. For four days, this event, organised by ADR Balears<\/strong> (Ag\u00e8ncia de Desenvolupament Regional de les Illes Balears) and BYBA<\/strong> (Balearic Yacht Brokers Association), becomes the global epicentre<\/strong> of the industry, where new boat models and products<\/strong> are showcased, making it the ideal stage for worldwide launches. Additionally, this year it expands with a new exhibition area at Club de Mar<\/strong>, adding 5,000 more square metres<\/strong>, and opening hours will be from 10:00 to 20:00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Club de Mar, the big novelty at Palma International Boat Show 2025<\/h2>\n

The addition of Club de Mar to Palma International Boat Show 2025 will add 5,000 square metres to the 80,000 square metres usually available at Moll Vell, thus responding to the growing business and exhibition demand<\/strong>. With this expansion, Palma International Boat Show 2025 will feature two distinct areas, connected by sea<\/strong> via maritime shuttles<\/strong>, allowing visitors to travel from one area to another in just five minutes<\/strong>, facilitating circulation and access to all boats and services present at the show.<\/p>\n

The new PIBS 2025 area will allow the exhibition of large vessels, mainly sailing yachts between 40 and 100 metres in length<\/strong>, built by shipyards specialising in unique models. On land, a space will be set up for companies offering services and equipment for these luxury yachts, including repair, maintenance, naval engineering, and interior design firms.<\/p>\n

Palma Superyacht Village<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With a solid track record<\/strong>, the event offers a comprehensive selection<\/strong> that includes everything from new boats to nautical equipment and services, as well as marinas and yacht harbours. A highlight of the exhibition is the Palma Superyacht Village<\/strong>, an exclusive section dedicated to vessels over 24 metres<\/strong>, both sailing and motor yachts. This space also includes a specialised yacht repair and maintenance area, known as refit & repair<\/strong><\/em>, featuring top industry companies.<\/p>\n

The 2024 edition, a resounding success<\/h3>\n

The 2024 edition<\/a> was a resounding success<\/strong> for PIBS. With the participation of 295 companies<\/strong> and around 600 boats<\/strong> on display, more than 260<\/strong> of which were in the water, the event occupied an area of over 80,000 square metres. Over the course of the show, more than 28,000 visitors<\/strong>, both enthusiasts and professionals<\/strong>, gathered at Moll Vell, making it one of the most significant<\/strong> industry events worldwide.<\/p>\n

The 2024 edition generated an economic impact of \u20ac20.1 million<\/strong>, according to a study by the Government of the Balearic Islands. This impact not only benefits businesses within the yachting sector but also helps to counteract seasonality in tourism by attracting thousands of national and international visitors during the low season, thus stimulating the local economy with positive effects on hotels, restaurants, transport, and commerce.<\/p>\n
