Once more, Art Palma Summer 2024 inaugurates the summer in Mallorca’s galleries with a ninth edition to be held on Thursday the 6th of June. From 6 pm to 9 pm, art lovers and the general public can visit, free of charge, more than 30 exhibitions spread between Palma, Andratx and Pollen\u00e7a. These exhibitions showcase the contemporary art works of more than 60 artists of different nationalities, generations and plastic languages.<\/p>\n

In addition to kicking off the summer season, this eagerly awaited event, organised by the Art Palma Contemporani (APC) association, aims to facilitate access to contemporary art for the general public and to promote quality cultural leisure.<\/p>\n

The projects featuring female artists such as Victoria Civera, Gema Polanco, Lydia Gifford and Lin Utzon, among others, stand out. There are also exhibitions by internationally renowned artists such as Jannis Kounellis, Joana Vasconcelos, Manolo Ballesteros and Nicol\u00f2 Baraggioli. There is also a notable presence of Balearic artists, with names such as Juli\u00e0 Panad\u00e8s, Joan Costa and Grip Face.<\/p>\n

The exhibitions will be open to the public during the following months of this summer, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy contemporary art in a vibrant cultural environment.<\/p>\n

Art Palma Summer 2024 Programme<\/h2>\n

In its ninth edition, Art Palma Summer presents an ambitious programme covering the cities of Palma, Andratx and Pollen\u00e7a, and incorporates for the second time the III International Art Week Congress, organised by ADEMA Escuela Universitaria.<\/p>\n

Among the 23 participating spaces are the 12 Art Palma Contemporani galleries (ABA ART LAB, BAR\u00d3, CCA Andratx, Galer\u00eda Fermay, Galer\u00eda Fran Reus, KEWENIG Palma, LA BIBI, L21 Gallery, Maior Pollen\u00e7a, Galeria Pelaires, Pep Llabr\u00e9s Art Contemporani and Galer\u00eda Xavier Fiol), one affiliated space (TUBE Gallery), two independent spaces (TACA and STAIN projects), and various institutional spaces (ADEMA Escuela Universitaria, Casal Solleric, CaixaForum Palma, Es Baluard Museu d’Art Contemporani de Palma, Fundaci\u00f3 Mir\u00f3 Mallorca, Fundaci\u00f3n Juan March Palma, La Llotja and La Miseric\u00f2rdia).<\/p>\n
