Once again, these festivities will fill the streets of the Llevant Mallorcan municipality with <strong>colorful and varied activities<\/strong> thanks to a <strong>program catering to all audiences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/cossiers-manacor.webp\" alt=\"Cossiers de Manacor\" width=\"780\" height=\"519\" \/><figcaption>The Cossiers de Manacor will inaugurate the Fires i Festes 2024 on May 24. Photo: Escola Municipal de Mallorqu\u00ed.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This year&#8217;s edition will kick off on Friday, May 24, with the <strong>traditional dance<\/strong> of the <strong>Cossiers<\/strong>, at <strong>5:00 PM<\/strong>, followed by the <strong>opening speech<\/strong> at the Claustre de San Vicente Ferrer at <strong>8:30 PM<\/strong>, delivered by <strong>Isabel M. Riera Oliver<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Among the most traditional events are the <strong>DO Pla i Llevant wine tasting<\/strong> on Saturday, May 25 at 6:00 PM in the Parc Municipal; the <strong>Fira de Primavera<\/strong> on Sunday, May 26; the <strong>Trobada de Gent Gran<\/strong> on Wednesday, May 29 at 8:00 PM in the Parc Municipal; the <strong>Picat de glosat<\/strong> on Friday, May 31 in the Claustre de San Vicente Ferrer; the <strong>Trobada Gegantera<\/strong> on Saturday, June 1 starting at 6:00 PM, featuring a parade through the Pla\u00e7a del Convent, Carrer Major, Pla\u00e7a de sa Bassa, Joan Lliteres, and Pla\u00e7a de Sant Jaume; the concert of <strong>Renou Col\u00b7lectiu<\/strong> on Saturday, June 1 from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM in the Pla\u00e7a Ramon Llull; and the <strong>parade of floats and troupes<\/strong> on Sunday, June 2 at 6:30 PM.<\/p>\n<h2>New Events in the Fires i Festes de Primavera 2024 in Manacor<\/h2>\n<p>This year will also feature new events such as the <strong>concert of Xanguito, Janti\u00e0, Dj Ilana, and DJ Alba Serrano<\/strong> on May 25 at 8:00 PM in the Pla\u00e7a de Ram\u00f3n Llull; the <strong>Revetlla Blanca<\/strong> on May 31 in the same plaza, encouraging attendees to dress in white and enjoy versions of songs from the 80s and 90s; the first <strong>Trail Ciutat de Manacor<\/strong>, organized by the Club Xendenguets and ascending to the hermitage of Santa Luc\u00eda on Saturday, June 1; and the musical surprise <strong>&#8216;Come together&#8217;<\/strong>, referencing The Beatles, on June 1 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Pla\u00e7a de sa Bassa.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Fira-primavera-manacor-cartel-2024.webp\" alt=\"Fira Primavera Manacor Poster\" width=\"400\" height=\"566\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>The program will conclude with the <strong>Reconeixement de M\u00e8rits<\/strong> of the Escola Municipal de Mallorqu\u00ed on Thursday, June 6 at the Teatre de Manacor, recognizing the career of journalist <strong>Margalida Solivellas<\/strong>, and with the <strong>Dijous de Tapes<\/strong>, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/manacor.org\/sites\/cilma_manacor\/files\/2024-05\/AJM_FiresiFestes_024_Programa_A5_Pantalla_1305_definitiu.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">View the complete program.<\/a><\/h3>\n<h2>Fira de Primavera (May 26)<\/h2>\n<p>The main day of these festivities is the Fira de Primavera, which will be held on Sunday, May 26, featuring various themes and activities throughout the day. Some of the new additions include the <strong>Espai L\u00fadic<\/strong>, in front of Carrer d&#8217;en Ti\u00e0 de sa Real, featuring the <strong>Tribufest tast<\/strong> from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM; a <strong>Land Art Workshop<\/strong> by Ennigulart from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM; and the <strong>Tast Silvestre<\/strong> by Llavors from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
