This event, which is part of the annual programme of cultural and recreational initiatives in Calvi\u00e0, promises to be a unique experience for all Friqui enthusiasts.<\/p>\n<p>Friqui Day 2024 is a tribute to friqui culture and its followers. On this occasion, the Es Generador facilities will be transformed into a geek convention from 17:00 to 22:00, where attendees can enjoy a variety of workshops and activities related to anime, manga, video games and much more. Inspired by the iconic characters of \u2018The Big Three of Manga\u2019: Naruto, Dragon Ball and One Piece, the event will be inclusive for all variants of geekdom, including Marvel, DC, Star Wars, epic fantasy, the most popular series and movies, as well as role-playing games.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time, a K-Pop exhibition has been organised, led by K-Pop Baleares. In addition, Random Kpop dance sessions will be offered on the dance floor, guaranteeing an experience full of rhythm and fun. Another of the main activities of the day will be the cosplay catwalk, with the presence of professional cosplayers from Amigos de la Ciencia Ficci\u00f3n who will liven up the party and walk around the venue.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, there will be a competition organised by the Shinigamis association, which will offer valuable prizes that can be exchanged for season tickets in specialised shops. The competition will evaluate the craftsmanship of the costume making process, the fidelity to the character and the quality of the presentation, both individually and as a group. There will also be a video games area with many new features, offering a variety of platforms and the opportunity to play classics and new games in a social way.<\/p>\n<h2>Friqui Day 2024 programme in Calvi\u00e0<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>17:00 &#8211; 20:00: Cooking workshop: Sushi and Dorayakis (for young people from 12 to 30 years old).<\/li>\n<li>17:00 &#8211; 20:00: Laser Tag (for young people aged 12 to 30). Registration on site.<\/li>\n<li>17:00 &#8211; 20:00: Playground (priority for young people from 12 to 30 years old). Time limited to 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>17:00 &#8211; 20:00: Hama beads (for all ages). No registration.<\/li>\n<li>17:00 &#8211; 20:00: Cubecraft (for all ages). No registration.<\/li>\n<li>17:00 &#8211; 20:00: Harry Potter Wands (for everyone). Registration on site.<\/li>\n<li>17:00 &#8211; 18:30: Fencing workshop and exhibition (priority young people from 12 to 30 years old). Registration on site.<\/li>\n<li>18:00 &#8211; 19:45: Performances and Random Kpop.<\/li>\n<li>20:00: Cosplay catwalk (for all audiences).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-105773 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/friqui-day-calvia-2024.webp\" alt=\"friqui day calvia 2024\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/friqui-day-calvia-2024-768x512.webp 768w, https:\/\/mallorcaglobalmag.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/friqui-day-calvia-2024.webp 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Friqui Day will also feature a fencing exhibition by students from youth workshops, as well as a display of laser swords created with blacksmith and hardware material. In addition, there will be an Escape Room themed on \u2018The Big Three Manga\u2019, crafts for all ages, role-playing games, and personalised caricatures by Bibi free of charge. There will also be Asian cooking workshops, group laser tag, an exhibition of the Calvi\u00e0 Libraries comic library and a 3D pen workshop.<\/p>\n<p>During the party, there will be a photocall run by young collaborators, who will also perform support tasks in various activities such as the play area, manual workshops and information point. The main objective of the event is to provide healthy entertainment options and create a space for young people to meet and socialise. Calvi\u00e0 is working to make Friqui Day a reference not only in the municipality, but also in the whole island.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, there will be more activities such as sock and fan printing workshops, badges, caricatures, masks and much more. All activities are free of charge.
