On 27th and 28th April, the Cloister of Sant Domingo de Pollen\u00e7a will dress up to welcome the 21st edition of the Pollen\u00e7a Wine Fair 2024. An event that promises to delight the most demanding palates with the best of Mallorcan oenology.<\/p>\n

This year, the Pollen\u00e7a Wine Fair is celebrating its 21st edition, with the collaboration of the Town Hall of Pollen\u00e7a and the Vi Primitiu association. In 2024, 38 wineries will be offering the best of their vintages. The island’s three Denominations of Origin (DO) (DO Vi de la terra de Mallorca, DO Pla i Llevant and DO Binissalem) will be present, along with representatives from DO Montsant (Priorat de Catalunya), with whom the Vi Primitiu Association collaborates.<\/p>\n

\nLecture: “The recovery of minority vine varieties in the Balearic Islands. Compilation of mentions since 1787”.
\nBy Dr. Maria del Carme Garau Taberner (head of Plant Production at IRFAP) and Dr. Antoni Puig Palerm (historian and archaeologist).<\/p>\n
