Leading Mallorcan actress Victoria Luengo (cover of Mallorca Global Mag spring-summer 2022 issue<\/strong><\/a>) has been awarded the Princess of Girona Art 2024 Award as part of the Talent Tour being held in Salamanca until 23 February. The announcement was made during the Princess of Girona CongresFest, a central event of the Talent Tour, where Queen Letizia presided over the ceremony accompanied by prominent figures such as Alfonso Fern\u00e1ndez Ma\u00f1ueco, President of the Castilla y Le\u00f3n Regional Government, and Francisco Belil, President of the Princess of Girona Foundation.<\/p>\n

The jury, made up of renowned experts, chose Victoria Luengo among the finalists, recognising her exceptional career in film, theatre and television. The actress, born in Palma de Mallorca in 1990, has been acclaimed for her naturalness, conviction and ability to express her love for her craft, inspiring new generations of artists.<\/p>\n

Consistent with her way of thinking<\/h2>\n

Present at the main event of the Talent Tour, Victoria Luengo expressed her gratitude for the prestigious award, stating: “It is an honour to receive this award for the way I feel about my profession, and I am very happy because being here today is to feel that I have managed to act in a way that is consistent with my way of thinking”.<\/p>\n

The jury, chaired by Ana Vall\u00e9s and made up of leading figures such as Rafael Rodr\u00edguez Villalobos, Luis Bassat, Marko Daniel, Ignacio Garc\u00eda-Belenguer, Jes\u00fas Marchamalo, Antonio Najarro and Andr\u00e9s Salado, highlighted Luengo’s ability to move audiences and her contribution to the artistic world. The Mallorcan actress recently expressed her wish to be known as Victoria Luengo, her full name, instead of Vicky Luengo, as she was known until now.<\/p>\n

The Princess of Girona Foundation is organising the 2024 Talent Tour in collaboration with TRIVU, Norvento Enerx\u00eda, Renfe, Fundaci\u00f3 Banc Sabadell and Vertex Bioenergy Foundation. The event, which runs until 23 February, offers more than 40 activities designed to improve the employability of young people, addressing their main concerns through workshops, conferences, debates and networking opportunities. The project is supported by the Salamanca City Council, the Junta de Castilla y Le\u00f3n, Fundaci\u00f3n Renault Group Espa\u00f1a, Caja Rural de Salamanca, the Salamanca Chamber of Commerce, the University of Salamanca and the Pontifical University of Salamanca.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
