Habturalia 2024, a holiday tourism meeting promoted by Habtur and Pidelaluna events, will take place on 23rd and 24th February in Can Gelabert (Binissalem). At the 2nd Mediterranean holiday rental forum, the public will be able to find a space dedicated to exhibitors, with service providers for owners or managers\/marketers of holiday rental places, as well as a programme of conferences and round tables with national and international speakers.<\/p>\n

At the presentation ceremony, the Conseller of Tourism of the Consell de Mallorca, Jos\u00e9 Marcial Rodr\u00edguez D\u00edaz, said that attendees “will receive new content, analysis and future prospects in interesting formats that will also allow them to establish new business alliances, learn about new developments in the sector, talk about legislation, taxation or have an institutional vision”. In the words of the councillor, “this type of accommodation helps the complementary offer and, therefore, benefits small and medium-sized businesses in Mallorca”.<\/p>\n

Habtur’s president, Toni Barcel\u00f3, highlighted the importance of this event, which is now in its second edition, and defended “the activity because it reaches many people”. In this sense, Barcel\u00f3 advocated “greater professionalisation of the sector” for the future.<\/p>\n

Habturalia 2024 Programme<\/h2>\n

The following round tables and conferences are scheduled for the first day, Friday 23 February, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm: “Sustainability and circularity in holiday homes”, “Tourism and sustainable development”, “Taxation in marketing companies”, “Seasonal rental vs. tourist rental”.<\/p>\n

During the second day (Saturday 24 February), other topics of interest will be addressed between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm: “Trends in holiday rentals”, “New trends in customer service” and “Modification of the tourism law: PP, PSOE, MES, VOX”.<\/p>\n

Habturalia 2024 is supported by the Fundaci\u00f3 Mallorca Turisme, Binissalem Town Council and the Government of the Balearic Islands.
