<\/p>\nThe Fira de Nadal i Reis 2023 will take place between today, 23rd November, and 6th January with opening hours from 10 am to 9 pm and will be held in three locations: the Ramblas, the Pla\u00e7a Major and the Parc de Ses Estacions.<\/p>\n
This last location is the main novelty this year, as the stalls have been moved to the park due to the remodelling work being carried out in the square. The City Council has chosen this alternative after studying all the options due to its proximity to the previous location, its visibility, connectivity with public transport and its accessibility. This was explained by Palma City Council at a press conference this morning.<\/p>\n
As in previous editions, the children’s attractions will be kept outside the Parc de Ses Estacions, and the Consistory guarantees the safety of the three markets, as there will be 24-hour surveillance by the local police and private security personnel.<\/p>\n
In the Parc de Ses Estacions 110 stall modules have been installed with 73 stallholders, 17 more than those installed last year in the Pla\u00e7a d’Espanya. Among the products on offer at this location are original Christmas gifts, beads, candles, textile accessories, paintings and graphic works. There will also be different food stalls selling sweets and sausages, among other food products, as well as 13 installations, including food trucks and stalls offering pastries and hot drinks.<\/p>\n
For their part, the 47 modules installed in the Pla\u00e7a Major, where 13 traders will be located, will focus on the sale of decorative objects typical of the festivities, such as nativity scenes, cribs and decorative candles, among others. The space will also have various children’s attractions.<\/p>\n

Las Ramblas, with 49 modules for 30 traders, will continue to be the location assigned to crafts and members of the craftsmen’s association and the offer will also include 4 churrer\u00edas and sweet stalls.<\/p>\n
With regard to the activities that will be held to boost Christmas shopping and support small businesses, the “El comer\u00e7 canta Nadal” (Christmas shopping sings) initiative stands out. This consists of 11 performances by several choirs in emblematic places in Palma, such as Pla\u00e7a de Santa Eulalia, Porta Pintada, Pla\u00e7a des Mercat, Pla\u00e7a de Cort and the Borne.<\/p>\n
The City Council has also brought back the distribution of bags with images of Palma’s emblematic shops after four years. It is planned that 9,000 bags will be distributed among the 114 listed establishments and the PalmaActiva kiosk in the Olivar market.<\/p>\n
Lastly, the visibility of local shops will be reinforced with an Opis campaign that will run from 5th December to 5th January with the slogan “El comer\u00e7 felicita el Nadal” (Christmas greetings from shops) with the aim of inviting the public to buy local produce. This campaign includes a QR code that redirects to the PalmaActiva website, which lists the different activities that will be held during the festivities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
