He is the only Balearic newcomer to the list, in which many of the archipelago&#8217;s usual fortunes are repeated.<\/p>\n<h2>Balearic fortunes on the Forbes list<\/h2>\n<p>According to the prestigious Forbes magazine, Spain&#8217;s richest Balearic is once again Miguel Flux\u00e0 Rosell\u00f3, executive chairman of the Iberostar Group. His fortune amounts to 2,500 million euros, occupying the 11th position in Spain. However, Flux\u00e0 drops three positions compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Sim\u00f3n Pedro Barcel\u00f3 Vadell, owner of Barcel\u00f3 Hotels, and his family, are the second Balearic Islanders with the largest fortune, with a total of 1,600 million euros. Nationally, they occupy 20th place, which represents a dizzying rise of 41 positions among the 100 largest national fortunes.<\/p>\n<p>Carmen and Luis Riu G\u00fcell repeat on the Forbes list of the richest people in Spain, this time in 38th position, up 7 places. The siblings have a fortune of 960 million euros, which gives them the bronze position in the Balearic Islands.<\/p>\n<p>Juan March Delgado and Carlos March Delgado, shareholders of Corporaci\u00f3n Financiera Alba, also repeated in the list. Specifically, in 39th and 40th place, with a fortune of 950 and 930 million euros, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Gabriel Escarrer, founder of Hoteles Meli\u00e1, and his family, have dropped 24 places to 52nd place on the national list. His fortune amounts to 720 million euros.<\/p>\n<p>Isabel Garc\u00eda Lorca, chairwoman of Grupo Pi\u00f1ero, has significantly improved her result in the list, rising from 300 million euros last year to 500 million euros this year, to reach 73rd place in the national ranking.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the last Balearic on the list is precisely the archipelago&#8217;s latest addition to the Forbes list of Spain&#8217;s richest people.
