Pedestrians will not be able to access the passage between the Aduanas building and the Palacio de Congresos until midnight due to possible incidents caused by the windstorm.<\/p>\n

The Consell de Mallorca has closed the Passeig Mar\u00edtim pedestrian walkway in Palma this morning due to the strong wind and the storm forecast for the entire day today. The closed section runs from the Customs building in the port of Palma to the Palacio de Congresos and will not open until at least midnight today.<\/p>\n

This measure has been implemented in order to avoid incidents that could affect pedestrians due to falling trees or caused by the force of the wind, after the emergency services activated the orange warning for windstorm.<\/p>\n

The Consell de Mallorca has appealed to all citizens to respect the closure barriers in order to avoid incidents. The citizens can consult the state of the roads of Mallorca through the link:\u00a0http:\/\/www.conselldemallorca.info\/sit\/incidencies<\/a><\/p>\n
