The Serra de Tramuntana and the south of Mallorca, especially, are today in orange alert, a wind that could reach 110 km \/ h on peaks and capes. This has been alerted by the Aemet, State Meteorological Agency, winds that are related to a squall that will lower temperatures significantly<\/p>\n

Mallorca will experience today a strong wind storm so the State Meteorological Agency, Aemet, has activated the orange alert<\/a>. In the south of Mallorca and the Serra de Tramuntana winds whip with gusts of 90 kilometers per hour, which can reach 110 km \/ h on peaks and capes.<\/p>\n

Coastal warnings are also activated in the south of Mallorca, with southwest wind of 55 to 70 km \/ h, with force 7 to 8, and waves of 3 to 5 meters.<\/p>\n

In the rest of the island the yellow alert is activated by gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour.<\/p>\n

The weather also announces cloudy intervals, with cloudy skies with precipitation that during the night may be accompanied by thunderstorms. The squall is associated with a polar cold front that will cause temperatures to drop significantly.<\/p>\n
