The Palma City Council, through the Municipal Funeral Company (EFM), has organized various activities to commemorate All Saints’ Day on November 1, providing remembrance spaces and support for visitors to the Son Valentí cemetery. Here is the detailed program of events and services available.

  • Official Institutional Ceremony
    • Date: November 1
    • Location: Palma Cemetery
    • Details: A floral offering will be held at Plaça de la Llibertat and Plaça del Record, accompanied by musical performances.
  • Tree of Remembrance
    • Location: Main entrance of Palma Cemetery
    • Description: An installation where visitors can write messages in memory of their loved ones, which will be placed in a time capsule buried beneath the tree.
  • Information Points
    • Locations: Sant Amadeo, Edifici Balear, and Plaça Ramon Llull
    • Purpose: Staffed tents to provide guidance and assistance to visitors.
  • Special Masses
    • Dates: November 1 and 2
    • Times: 10:00 AM (Central Chapel of Palma Cemetery), 11:00 AM (Chapel at Tanatorio II – Bon Sosec), and 12:00 PM (Central Chapel of Palma Cemetery).
  • Extended Cemetery Hours
    • Dates: October 30 to November 3
    • Hours: From 08:00 AM to 09:00 PM, with vehicle access restricted during peak times to facilitate visitor movement.

Special EMT Transportation Service

To facilitate travel to the Son Valentí cemetery, EMT Palma will activate a special service from October 31 to November 3. Departures will be every 20 minutes from Sindicat from 7:40 AM to 8:55 PM, with return trips from the cemetery until 9:10 PM. Additionally, Line L9 will remain available for added access to the cemetery.
